While this game does look fun as hell, I don't think I'll be buying it. Mroe of a rental to me. I am too old and have too much family stuff going on to count on friends being over all of the time to make this game fun and long-lasting. Looks to me like it would get dull after a few months. But that's me, not a die-hard fighter fan.

there is a thread where people are complaining about how difficult it is. Also I can attest that button mashing will get you know where in this game. Tried that method in the arcade and got creamed. Those guys were lucky i didn't know the controls for the game.

getting mine hopefully tomorrow. I'm going to painstakingly practice, also I'm not getting a stick, the beautiful DualShock d-pad is good enough for me. on HD Remix, my win/loss is 88/12. not bad, but not too good either. I see myself playing this game for centuries.

what bad controls? Seriously. People overexaggerate how bad the X360 dpad is. Sure it could be better, but it doesnt constitute "bad controls". Its just like how people overexagerate how bad the PS3 controller is for FPSes. Its not bad, you just have to get used to it.
EPIC WIN Capcom is going to have a great year i think. anyway I will be buying this as soon as Amazon delivers my arcade stick Microsoft returns me my 360 I have 60 bucks to spend(which i have now....) So YEAH :D .....too bad i'll suck for like the first month :P

don't play online i see or are u just not a competitive gamer? On the contrary, I love playing online. But this type of game, a one-on-one fighter like this, is best with friends in-house. I think that's where the real fun and value is. I am not into the genre enough to go online for months with this game. It would still get stale to me.

Yeah, the d-pad's good gor me too. I've pwned so much it's ridiculous. I've only lost about 3 or 4 online fights out of about maybe 40 or so. I'ld like to get beat though. I wanna play the best. The 360 d-pad can be fixed by using sandpaper and sanding down the area around the d-pad. I did that to my 360 controller a long time ago and it was the best thing i've ever done for it. I've never had a problem with the d-pad not registering my input. So it really doesn't matter what system you get this game for.
I just picked up the collector's edition for PS3 since the movie comes in high def on blu-ray. gamertag is lstreak (LSTREAK) friend me :)

In Japan, hopefully it comes to America for others to play. Sure, I almost killed my Wii for it but TvC is as good as Street Fighter IV. I own both games. My only problem with TvC is Joe =/

I have a lot of gaming friends, but none of them are into fighters. I got Virtual Fighter 5 when it came out but it wasn't much fun because my friends weren't very good at it. Every once in awhile I'll play Street Fighter HD online but it's just not the same.

Good for Capcom. Coming out with two major gamess within a month. Personally not interested in either, but they are one of the more solid devs this gen

I'm talking about TvC, the Wii doesn't need Street Fighter IV as long as it has TvC, The only problem is TvC is exclusive to Japan Street Fighter IV does feel dumbed down compared to Street Fighter 3 but it still is a good game
