Yep, especially when you only play in a handful of stages, use a handful of characters and turn off any random element. I'm sure glad that what made smash bros fun wasn't the characters, stages, or items.

Yes the game's quality, but I can't get it. I don't have an arcade stick and I can't afford the $150 good ones for the 360, and I refuse to use the controller.

Yea, but Gametrailers, IGN and Gamestop have all admitted that they score Wii games on a lower scale.

i know ign said something to the effect that they base the scores off of the hardware on the platform and the games avalible on said platform, but not based off of games on a different system (unless they are obviously multiplat)

I don't know why GT gave the game a low score in Design. Seriously, do they expect the game to be completely revolutionary or something? The game is so damn polished and its almost flawless from what the developers wanted to create. It deserved just a few more points, you can tell because the Gameplay and Presentation almost got a 10.

If people didn't enjoy playing Smash competitively then they wouldn't travel across the country and to others to compete while providing housing and rides to total strangers who do so as well. Infact, I'd say competitive players love and enjoy Smash more any casual ever will.
