[QUOTE="musicalmac"]The Wii U just looks downright terrible, and none of it makes much sense to me. The original Wii was a hit because everyone could jump in. As I understand it, only one uber-controller per Wii U is allowed, which just makes no sense to me. My only thought is that Nintendo is trying to ride the wave of their previous success (Wii and DS), and I think that's just not a good idea. They need a kick in the pants. Maybe another Gamecube era is what they need. Who knows. They bore me. But that's just my opinion.Techn0holic89
I agree with you with the first two lines. The Wii U design looks too simialiar to the wii which is a bad business move. The one tablet controller is also bad move that will cause confusion among developers about control premise espicially in multiplayer. I have nothing to say about that except that I hope Nintendo will do something to fix those design flaws.
Nintendo has outright stated that they will cater to the hardcore as well as casual masses. They are also improving themselves in third party support with these games confrimed: Darksiders 2,Battlefield 3, Batman: Arkham City, Assassin's Creed, Ghost Recon Online, Dirt, Aliens: Colonial Marines, Metro: Last Light, Tekken and Ninja Gaiden 3. Crysis, Valve, and EA have confirmed that the Wii U specs will be on par,if not better, than current consoles. Nintendo has already confirmed Smash Brothers and Pikman 3 are in development for Wii U.
Thats all I can say about the Wii U now but other than those design issues, Wii U is starting to build itself a great start for their first HD console outing
its not confirmed one tablet thats the funny part. i thought nintendo WAS clearly thinking accurate with the wiiu getting the 3rd party to jump on...... but like usual nintendo cant please everyone and i honestly think they should stop caring about making afew people happy and focus on everybody which they been trying to do even if they dont succeed everytime
