Stupid oblivion question

I just have to know this cause ill never do it myself and i couldnt find out in a faq. If you max out all your major skills at lvl 1 does that mean you can only get to a max level of 2 due to the fact you wont be able to level up any major skills during lvl 2? Or do you get to gain multiple lvels everytime you go to sleep with more than 10+ skills gained in your major skills?

Your level progression from major skill gains carries over. You'll be able to sleep, and level up repeatedly. You'll have to sleep for each level.
