Stupidly over looked games!

just wanted to get it out there

what games do you think have been criminally overlooked?

my two choices are enslaved and alan wake

seriously, why has either sold so little???

after playing through enslaved after reading the critisisms it got, i was plesently surprised... the game is brilliant, from story telling, to cinematics that really alow you to fel the charicter emotion... i heard the combat was not great but and i will admit it was slightly simple but never the less i had a blast with the game.

a nice change from shooters and such. you can pick it up for about a tenner now and i strongly recommend it.

im not gonna say too much about alan wake except that those who havn't got it , definatly should pick it up. an AMAZING game!

Knights in the Nightmare, Silent Hill shattered Memories, Final fantasy Crystal Chronicles the Crystal Bearers are but a few criminally overlooked games.

i still shill for overlord every chance i get.

the whole monty python meets pikmin thing was a blast.

I can't beleiveI almost forgot Majora's Mask! It's always overshadowed by OoT.

Muramassa: the demon blade, Madworld, Red steel 2 (its nothing like the original) thats just for the wii. lol For playstation 3 i would say Condemned was awesome and so was callof juarez......what about modnation which i think is the best cart racer ever made....even better than mario cart and certainly far more challenging...plus the online is great the infinite cart and mod options for creating and sharing......the game is just really, really, fun.

The Darkness

Borderlands....dunno how well it sold, but it's never mentioned around sw. Longest co-op game I can think of, tons of fun.WithoutGraceXII

I don't think is over looked, at least not here since it is one of the most talked JRPGs of the gen, people still praise it a lot, sadly, maybe it had very low sales.

Anyway, i'll say Manhunt, it's one of the most shocking games i've played, and not because of the executions, that's just the tip of the iceberg.

Arcana Heart 3.

The Mark of Kri. It will always be one of my favourite games. The battle system was very different from others and worked really really well. The levels and weapons were great and it had some awesome stealth kills. But I don't think many people knew about it, but I thought it was fantastic

I think it WAS overlooked but nowadays its a well known game among gamers

Okami was so overlooked it killed the studio. Sure, it got critical praise all over the place, and even though many people hailed it as amazing, it sold next to nothing. Never have I seen such a universally loved game sell so incredibly poor.

Clive Barker's UNDYING. That game had it all.

Arcana Heart 3.

Never played the third one, but the first was awesome!

Little King's Story. An absolutely fantastic game. GS made a big mistake IMO. It really deserved AAA.

Castlevania: Lords of shadow - damn this game should've been a 2010 GOTY contender was in my opinion, MUCH better and deeper than god of war 3 - and I am a GoW fan.

Ghostbusters on Wii.

Quantum Theory. One of the best games I've played this gen

Yea i'm going with Borderlands.

PGR4. For reasons beyond human comprehension MS released it two weeks after Halo 3 so no one bought it, yet it's one of the best racing games of the gen (I'd say second only to Forza 3).

Yoshi's Island.

Yakuza games.

Zelda OOT isn't overlooked at all, it was the best game of all time according to a READER's CHOICE poll by ign some 4 years ago.

If you mention underrated games, the first thing that comes to my mind is Mirrors Edge. I died a little inside when I heard the sequel was canceled.

For once I agree with you. Condemned is one of the best games I've played this gen. The detective tools and the melee combat made it unique and it's probably the scariest game this gen. Remember the moving mannequins?. It's over looked because not many people had a 360 back then, I assume it's horribly dated now.
