Summer Games for ALL systems............ sorry hermits

Nintendo Wii.... ugh... sigh... I haven't bought a game for my Wii in some time, and it looks like I won't be buying another one til the holidays.

PC... not as bad as the Wii's lineup.... and has a couple great titles, but still a long leap from what the PS3 and 360 are offering. Sorry Hermits... guess you'll have to log a few more hundred hours in WoW.

Why sorry for hermits? I saw 7 games I wanted for PC and 5 for the 360. PC may not have quantity on those lists, but they have quality in spades.

Although I admit I don't care for sports games, which make up a good chunk of the console lists.

Oh, and who needs WOW with Warhammer coming out?

I see far more PC high class PC exclusives (STALKER Clear Sy, Spore, Warhammer online, Space Siege) on the list, than I see 360 or PS3 exclusives....but thats just me.

I see they didnt even bother listing multiplats for the PC list...since the majority of the list is of PC exclusives.....so far I have only looked at the 360 list...but their is only one exclsuive their...too human...and thats not what you would call an AAA quality game if you catch my drift.

guess you'll have to log a few more hundred hours in WoW.

I will probably be buying Socom in September ......... and I think I will rent a few out of these if I get the chance (Battlefield Bad Company , Mercenaries 2 , Brothers in Arms) or not.

Don't diss the Wii though ....

Xbox 360 does have the best lineup, then the wii.

Why sorry for Hermits? because 1 title is a compilation of Sim City, another is The Sims... then there is a Witcher Remake... and an expansion pack for NWN2... some crap game called "FLATOUT" and some other crappy games, like the one that looks like it was built from the ground up on a 386....

.... only thing I saw that was note worthy for the PC was Warhammer Online, Spore & umm..... well I think that was it. Oh Brothers in Arms: Hells Highway, which is on the 360 & PS3.

Stalker: Clear Skies is the next addition to what was one of the best FPS released last year, I wouldn't exactly call that crappy. Not to mention the PC gets the best versions of Mercenaries and Brothers in Arms. Finally, we get a Strongbad game, for me that's just freaking awesome.

But, if you just want to play the opinion game then why even make these posts as I could just say much of the console lineup is a bunch of annual sports rehashes from EA.

I dont need dozens of PC games releasing every month. The games that I already own have great replay value unlike the majority of the console titles. Keep renting 3-4 console games every week and get bored after a few hours while I play all my games for 100+ hours each. Who's the sorry one again?TheBigBadGRIM

Well 360 has 3 exclusives there, and ps3 has 2 (Although mgs4 wasn't included it was released in the summer) and I think one AA + AAAA beats like three A games for 360.dackchaar

No MGSIV was not released in the Summer, neither was NGII.

The wii has madden and ncaa

so its all good

Games I plan on getting this summer are Infinite Undiscovery, TOS:2, TOV, Strongbad, Sam and Max, Blast Works, Mario Baseball, FF: Fables and Samba de Amigo

For handheld FF:4 and DQ:4

If these people had known how many different player made high quality stories(almost entirely new games) are made for games like Neverwinter Nights. I think their minds would overload.

A PC summer list with Spore and S.T.A.L.K.E.R. is a solid list.

And the Wii list is pretty weak. The only Wii game this summer that I'm looking forward to is Strong Bad and that's also on the PC.

What PS3 exclusives are on the list, if there are any?

Wii has a great line-up of games, in my opinion. They are just different and original.

PC's games don't interest me at all, but I prefer buying old, cheap AA and AAA PC games that I missed out on in the past decade.

Spore is exclusive too...and Space Siege is made by a strong developer, one who has gotten GOTY here in the past....

and again...as Ive already pointed out...their are numerous multiplats that arent even listed on the PC list....IGN has different teams for every platform...so it follows that they have a different format.
