Only Gamespot reviews count here.-Beowulf
To who? Maybe they're the only reviews that "count" to you, but I take all reviews into consideration. Why would you limit yourself to one person's opinion? That would be silly.

Well, maybe cause he means that since this is gamespot.com, that you're on gamespot.com, that their reviews count here. DURPA DUR!

We don't need that kind of logic in System Wars. It's too much.

Like I said "Durpa Dur", just because it's the only site that "counts" to you, doesn't mean it's the only site that counts to everyone. Some people might not care about GS' score at all. In that case, the GS score doesn't "count" to them.

Are you new to SW? GS is the only thing that matters here... sadly.
Just because it's not AAA to you, doesn't mean it's not AAA to me.
Everyone has their own opinion. There is no "official" score. Sorry.

Then why are you still here trying to make us believe that it is a AAA game (in your sense)?

STOP IT! Good night! Are you not reading what they are saying? If you're going to use AAA, AA arguments on GS then you use GS reviews. Its that simple. We're all completely aware of other review sites, but in here the scores are GS ONLY, this helps keep it "fair" when people argue about the best system/game/etc...
It's easy to say a certain game got AAA on one site and A on another. They're all different, thus it's simplified...GS ONLY on THEIR forums.

Well then those ppl shouldnt post on Gamestop Forums claiming its AAA. Seriously if u think the game is AAA good for you but judging by your post count you prob know how things are around here so why waste your time.

Read the System Wars stickies - we only us GS scores here, take it up with the mods if you don't like it. Super Paper Mario got an 8.8 - AA.

Yeah, it is stupid that people here say GS is the only site that counts. So why should you be posting anything but Gamerankings, which actually does average everyones opinion?

Read. The. System. Wars. Stickies. GS Scores are the only scores we used in System Wars for determining if a game is A, AA, AAA, or AAAA. End of story. Posting to complain about this is a TOS violation, take it up in private with the moderators if you don't like it.
Read the SW stickies before posting here please.

We are at gamespot. When you are at this website, www.gamespot.com , you go by there reviews. Al lthe reviews that arent in www.gamespot.com dont count at www.gamespot.com
If you read the stickies you would know that the mods have already said that a game scoring A, AA, or AAA does not solely indicate the worth of that game. It's just a review. The worth of a game is personal, so it's silly to sit here arguing that we should all judge on that - we already know that, but when it comes to discussings scores, you can't just make one up.
However, if you really are that upset that Nintendo has basically failed to produce AAA games this generation, I think you need to take a deep breath and really think about what your expectations for the Wii are. Nintendo isn't regaining their throne, look at the amount of money they're making and really think "do they even want it?"
Microsoft and Sony have the sword of damocles hanging over their heads - they take a loss on hardware and fight a vicious war to bring high-end graphics and sound to the market, and to get third parties to produce the best games possible for their systems. They play a high stakes game where the prize is awesome visual quality, but the cost is the risk they take.
Nintendo doesn't play with the big boys any more, and you shouldn't expect them to. Games like Resident Evil 4 on the GCN didn't define the Gamecube, and on the Wii they will be even more rare. Expect lots of simple games, lots of somewhat flawed games that just miss the AAA marking, and a slight decline in game quality towards the end of the systems life, with an exit of third parties from the market and a Nintendo-games dominance within the next two years.
Is that a bad thing? No. Nintendo fans expect Nintendo games, this has always been the way, and it will continue to be the way, it's how Nintendo rolls, like it or not. If you want to have the system with the AAAs - back a system like the Xbox 360 that gets a ton of shots at them thanks to having the cutting-edge third party games, and the huge development budgets that come out of Microsoft.
Otherwise, be happy, and stop worrying about gamescores. Nintendo won't get its big one until Brawl or Galaxies comes out, with MP3 being another game I expect will pull a TP and get a dissapointing score - simply because, well, outside of controls, what innovation does it offer over MP2? You get a high score for innovating or doing something just outright impressive, all while keeping all the aspects of the game tight. Too many Wii games have just been unpolished.
Look at the decline in scores for Pokemon. Has the series gotten worse? No, but the tenth time I catch a Pikachu is not as fun as the first - you can never recreate the amazing experience that was playing Pokemon for the first time. There are games on the market now, like Gears of War, or PGR3, that I think have a "wow, this is cool" effect the first time you play them - I think Blue Dragon will be that way when you play it, kind of like your first time playing FF7. You can't go back though, and, well, as long as Nintendo isn't bringing something really *new* to the table, they aren't going to get those high gamescores.
