So? how much this will cost? $40, sadly i can see this happening.
So we'll get the Arcade Edition and hopefully by the end of this year Continnum Shift 2 too, great, and i hope Arc Systems show Capcom how a DLC must be done since they said it will be either really cheap or maybe even free.

You really think they would charge 40 bucks for this? I seriously doubt it.... it will probally be within the 15 to 20 dollar range max.

It's Capcom, yes i do see them charging that much, 25-30 at the cheapest.
Prove me wrong Capcom, prove me wrong.
[QUOTE="MGS-GrayFox"][QUOTE="siLVURcross"]Not really rejoicing.tagyhag
Why? Would you prefer nothing at all?
I'm sure he preferred having all these characters since the beginning. But, we all know Capcom! 23 Street Fighter games and counting!Well it is also a balance patch, I doubt most SF players will be getting it for the new characters.
And Capcom continues to milk it's fanbase dry as they all lap it up and shout, "More!"
And people wonder why MvC3 shipped with next to nothing on disc.

So how would you recommend they get the ARCADE EDITION CONTENT on to the console then? A new game release?

Nobody is going to buy $30 DLC and CapCom knows this. Not even Call of Duty would be able to get away with $30 DLC..I'm sure he preferred having all these characters since the beginning. But, we all know Capcom! 23 Street Fighter games and counting![QUOTE="tagyhag"][QUOTE="MGS-GrayFox"]

If only they could not charge for the patch like most companies do then. :([QUOTE="DarkLink77"]

What are the new aditions to that arcade content? A few more characters and some balance fixes? With such limited content couldn´t they just update the game for free?Heck,TF2 had more meaningfull upodates than that and they were all free...

Don't pay no mind. These children are going to cry no matter what. Not too long ago they cried about how Capcom released Super Street Fighter IV when it "should" have been DLC. They release DLC, and people still cry. That's what this generation has become, a b***** fest where people need to complain about everything, and then people wonder why this gen sucks. Why would a developer waste time putting effort into a game when people are just going to complain about it? That's why they take the easy road and make a shooter which is a guaranteed million sales.[QUOTE="The__Havoc"]

Hmm well I don't believe MS and Sony allow you to give out patches of a certain size for free.

TF2's updates did not drastically change gameplay. Street Fighter IV and Super Street Fighter IV are HEAVILY defensive games. This Arcade Edition has changed so much that it shifted the focus back to an offensive game. That would be like updating a TBS into an RTS..yeah, definitely seems like a minor changeWhat are the new aditions to that arcade content? They don't. But hey, who cares right? It's Capcom's fault. It's always Capcom's fault. Their greediness caused the earthquake, you didn't know that?[QUOTE="Arach666"]What are the new aditions to that arcade content? That would be like updating a TBS into an RTS..yeah, definitely seems like a minor change Oh please, look at what TF2 was and what it is now. It´s almost a completely diferent game now,and all of those massive changes that were made were all free. IK mean, there was even discussion here to see if the PC version of TF2 would be considered PC exclusive considering that it´s so diferent than the vanilla console counterparts. As for the fact that sony or MS don´t alow to get some patches(a patch, because that´s what this is honestly) for free, then at least make it at the lowest price possible, like $5 or even less.[QUOTE="madsnakehhh"]

being as capcom charges 4.99 per char for MvC3 and about 3.99 per costume...Yes I do expect that.

I've heard this a couple of times on SW, but i've yet to see someone actually explain what is so different in TF2. I hated TF2 on consoles, it was just no fun compared to TFC. I'd love to hear what's so fantastic about TF2 PC now-a-days.

I would prefer them to focus on making a new game.Gonna wait for the retail version of this.... "Hyper Street Fighter IV - The Real Final Version of SFIV (until next year)"

SSFIV.

A patch. maybe? Or free DLC? Capcom should not force people to pay to fix balance issues.I hope not. Lack of DLC is a huge advantage of the 3DS at this point.Hopefully this brings up the thought of having DLC on the 3DS, just want to see if they start doing it. lol But WOO! SSFIV.

All I know so far is Evil Ryu, Oni Akuma (or just Oni whatever) and Yin and Yang (twins I believe)
SRTtoZ
I guess this is great, however it should be optional if you want to pay for the characters via DLC, and it shouldn't be forced in the whole package, it should be a free or an extremely cheap patch to fix the balance and add the new features and then sell the characters separately.

I'm pretty sure this is how it is going to be handled. The trailer hints that you can play against people who have the standard version still. PS: His name is Yun =PThat doesn't sound too far-fetched. The characters aren't too fast in Street Fighter IV. I kind of want a Turbo/Hyper version myself.Gonna wait for the retail version of this.... "Hyper Street Fighter IV - The Real Final Version of SFIV (until next year)"

I am sure its all optional...but you wont be able to play against people who own the AE though. Its probably a bad thing since most of the community will upgrade and leave the people who dont with minimal online options.

More reason of why the new features should be a free patch.
