i'm not backing hd-dvd or blu-ray. Not because of Sony or the ps3, but because I feel that hd-dvd has fewer restraints placed upon it and allow the purchaser/owner of the HD-DVD more freedom.  Also, from researching the two, it appears that you have to have too much equipment to enjoy the blu-ray at it's full potential.  I've also found that it appears that oveall, hd-dvd has a better picture.  personally i'm going to wait until there is a clear winner before getting behind either one.

Bingo, you win. Upgrading your cable is way better than getting either format right now.

Too bad you have no idea what you're talking about.

The format doesn't have anything to do with the image quality.

This is what happens now with the whole buyatons stupidities, if it doesn't work and BR still gets ahead then we will see the same ppl saying that dvd is still winning and that BR doesn't matter.

He is probably talking about the early days when the digital transfers were so bad, the first time I ever saw Blu-Ray it was a Spiderman trailer and the colors were actually bleeding outside of the edge of spideys costume. I guess it could have been the tv also but whatever it was it was a really bad first impression.

Some lemmings already tried by buying the garbage add-on but now they probably realised that it wasn't a good decision.

i would really like to know when a majority of cow pies got caught with up this whole bluray, format war and became crazy audio/videophiles. The only reason why cows even follow bluray is because of one reason and one reason alone...it has the Sony PS brand name behind it.

If bluray wasnt even vital to the PS3 or backed by Sony we would not be hearing anything from cows about this, hell a majority of them prolly wouldnt even know what bluray is if it werent for sony. Games should be the concern here on this forum not some media format (HD-DVD and Bluray) that a majority of the public doesnt even care about.
