And that is why the PS3 will win in 08, the 360 does not have big franchises coming out. Successful IPs are anybody's guess. And GTA is multiplat.

Yes Sony has several games that are "supposed" to come out....But take a guess at how long they have been showing and hyping MGS4,and Killzone2?.....At least 3 years that I know of. Still dont have those do we?

I go by whats out now and to be honest its a wonder Sony is still even around.

360 owners already have great games out to play NOW. Theres no need to "Just Wait" for anything. 360 has tons of great games now, and will in 08. So, basically, even if PS3 finally gets good games in 08, 360 owners will already have had numerous hits and have them still coming. I dont see in the least why Sony sheeple think PS3 is going to overthrow the competition. You Sony sheeple still have to wait a LONG TIME to get great games (if they turn out that way), how is that something to be proud of? And with the volume of games the 360 moves, you honestly think developers are going to walk away from the idea of bringing their successful titles/new titles to a cash cow? ...Guaranteed money.... And thats the name of the game - $ MONEY $ !

Maybe Sony fan should just worry about the PS3 and its continuous delays and disappointments and not be so cocky with its "prospective" 2008 line up.

360 still has lots of nice games coming next year, but its major system seller was this year (Halo 3).

When everyone says PS3 will do well in 2008, we say that because it has a few system sellers + lots of great games. It doesn't mean the 360 doesn't have great games too.

Ummm...what happens in 2007 still matters in 2008. Halo 3 and Mass Effect will still be selling next year and will still be compelling reasons to pick up a 360, along with all the other titles.thinicer

Huxley, (Huxley is a massively multiplayer first-person shooter set in a post-apocalyptic world where humans and mutants are at war.) and also,World in Conflict, (World in Conflict is a real-time strategy game that takes you back to 1989 during a fictional war between the U.S., NATO, and the Soviet Union.) which, by the way is already out for the PC and has scored a 9.5! so the PS3 beat down continues in 08! If the PS3 turns a corner next year and finally gets some games worth purchasing (and hopefully comes down in price) I'll go out and buy one. Arguing a case for future potential as opposed to current performance is pointless - go buy a 360 and enjoy some good games instead of waiting for 08 to bring some joy in your lives.

Getting outsold somewhere between a 5 to 1 and a 6 to 1 ratio? Thats called failure. Abandoning your loyal user base completely to focus on the next-gen and forcing the hand of your customers? Failure. Its 2007, why is online not free, and if you have to pay for it, why are there ads everywhere? Failure.

Xbox didn't establish ****. Well, it established one thing: Halo. It had very, very few great exclusives. It was a better choice for multiplats and had a couple of worthwhile games. Thats it. These Splinter Cell, PGR, and DOA comparisons have got to stop. They are not MGS, GT, and Tekken. They do not have the history or dedicated fanbases behind them compared to those franchises. And every once in awhile a new IP comes along and is touted as the next _____ killer. Blue Dragon and Two Worlds were supposed to be epic and make people forget about the far off Final Fantasy. Waht happened?

Lemmings have Halo, and its newest incarnation is here and now gone. You aren't getting a new Gears in 08.

Halo Wars IS AN RTS, its not a casual friendly FPS, and will have to be an exceptional game if it wants to be known as something other than a C and C clone that takes place in the Halo Universe.

You know what Fable 2 reminds me of? Killzone 2. Sequels that promise so much, while their original games were flops. And nobody knows that much about either.

Alan Wake? Does this game still exist, nobody has heard anything about it for almost a year.

Lets say the 360 was in the current state that the PS3 was in, but Halo hadn't been released yet. Would you think it was correct to write off the console before its biggest game had been released? No, you wouldn't. Thats why its funny when lemmings say the PS3 is dead even though its best and most consistent franchises have not released their games this gen.
