This is it. For 4 weeks, System Wars debated and argued over originality, innovation, and the impact of those games that made their debut in this generation. This isn't just about the best game, but the best new entry of series beginning here that aren't a continuation from previous generations. And just like some exceptional titles of the past, these will be the new forerunners to make their mark and influence the landscape of gaming tomorrow.
We started with 48 new series entering the arena and now only 3 remain. But it's not over yet because only ONE can be crowned System Wars Choice for Best NEW IP of this Generation!!! So which will it be? The physics defying Portal, the galactic odyssey that is Mass Effect, or the most ambitious game to ever bring an ink character to life in the interactive digital world, Batman Arkham?
Now it's for all of you in the System Wars community to decide. Since this is the last round, there are no lists, no format, and no optional rules as it's come down to just one choice to make from the 3 finalists. But to make it all all official as a vote, for it to count you need to post a 2 paragraph summation as to why you think the game of your choice deserves this prestigious recognition. The criteria to be covered must include gameplay innovations, technical achievements, the projected influence it will have on future game design, and overall reception to its given gaming experience.
Nahhhhh I'm just f***ing with y'all. Just say the game you're voting for and we're all good :P Oh and as throughout this contest, only Level 10 and above users are eligible for this. I'm sure it need not be said, my vote goes to the Mass Effect series. Now let's see what the rest of you have to say :)
