1. Metal Gear Solid: Peace Walker
2. Castlevania: The Dracula X ChroniclesÂ
3. Metal Gear Solid: Portable Ops
[QUOTE="Wiimotefan"]Should have played Peace Walker bro. Arguably the best Metal Gear Solid game barring Snake Eater. euugh, to each his own. I honestly felt like it wasn't significantly better than Portable Ops. Maybe not at all. I felt like it drug out, it was longer than it needed to be. One of my least favorite entries in the series.Back before I knew the MGS series would be heading down the sh*tter, I bought a PSP specifically for Portable Ops. Â Such a terrible decision. Â
Got rid of my PSP and never looked back. Â I know I missed some good stuff in the long run, but it was the only time I ever regretted buying a platform so I had to ditch it.

I still liked it, it's still a good game. but defintely not my one of my favorite Metal Gears.
Â
Regardless, you don't even need a PSP to play Peace Walker. Â It's on PS360 too. Â I played in on 360, personally.
Really? Purely from a gameplay perspective, I think it completely shamed MGS Portable Ops and whatever I played of MGS 4.\ Alot of the mission just involve you walking from one end of the map to the other. It's mostly just Portable Ops with some of MGS4's gameplay alterations. The enemies are blind as hell. The game is grindy as frick and Peace Walker has the weakest roster of bosses the series has probably ever seen relying purely on absurdly huge health bars instead of actual challenge. Shoot the pod, that's it. And the find Zadornov missions was just some really stupid artificial legnthening for a game that was already a good twenty five hours longer than it needed to be.[QUOTE="vashkey"] euugh, to each his own. 1. Persona 3 Portable
2. DBZ Shin Budokai: Another Road
3. Crimson Gem Saga
Â
And so many more, the PSP was easily my most favorite console ever. It's got a ton of great games.
Let's not ignore Sony's amazing portable that filled in the void of handheld 3D gaming that the DS' processing power often couldn't handle. This system had some really amazing games like GTA LCS, Dissidia, MGS, God of War, WTF (I actually don't like this one), etc. So we can't let this great platform go down so easily, especially since its last swan song was so long ago (Tactics Ogre, I think?)
From here on, I'll just use Charizard's template:
Welcome System Wars to the newest, latest, and greatest System Wars Votes.
What is System Wars Votes? System Wars Votes is a series of community oriented polls, in which the entire community comes together to vote on ranking something related to gaming.Â
And just how do we go about this?
By a simple, community oriented voting procedure. In this thread, you name your three favorite PSP games of all time. Make sure to name them in order. The first game will get 50 points, the second game will get 25 points, the third game will get 15 points. The order you list your choices in is very important, as it will affect the final tallies.
Anything and everything is eligible for this list, but there are the following stipulations:
This list is a lot harder for me to make with the outstanding library the system had
1) LocoRoco 2
2) Grand Theft Auto Liberty City Stories
3) God of War Chains of Olympus
1. Persona 3 Portable
2. DIssidia Duodenum
3. Tactics Ogre LUCT
Left out VC2 cause it was the weakest of the 3.
and that's all the PSP titles I can claim to have played.
I would however like to get the Persona series.

Oh yeah, being the crazed MGS fan that I am, I had to. Â It was leagues above both Portable Ops and MGS4. Â I was lucky enough to have a friend let me borrow his PSP for that.

Neat lol. I was just afraid you'd missed out on is probably one of the PSP's best games because Portable Ops was a piece of shit :P[QUOTE="Wiimotefan"][QUOTE="charizard1605"] Should have played Peace Walker bro. Arguably the best Metal Gear Solid game barring Snake Eater.charizard1605

Looking back on it now I should have kept the PSP, it actually started getting cool titles like right after I sold it lol.
Oh well.

Yes, well... handhelds>>>consoles now anyway, now that consoles are nothing more than a means for big corporations to monetize every possible gaming related avenue possible. But that's a discussion for a different thread! I don't want to derail Blab's work here.[QUOTE="Wiimotefan"][QUOTE="charizard1605"] Neat lol. It has Symphony of the Night in it.

Almost like Finalstar avoiding great JRPGs just for the sake of being Sony loyal. Â
I know I'll come around eventually. Â I'm constantly on the edge of picking up a 3ds. Â I've been at the tipping point for months now. Â :P
It has the sequels to Link to the Past and Yoshi's Island. Meditate on that for a second. [QUOTE="vashkey"] euugh, to each his own. forget those games.
The System has Fire Emblem Awakening and will soon get Shin Megami Tensei 4!!!

F*cking Link to the Past. Better than all Fire Emblems and Personas and Shin Megami Tenseis and Pokemons and Marios put together.[QUOTE="LegatoSkyheart"][QUOTE="charizard1605"] It has the sequels to Link to the Past and Yoshi's Island. Meditate on that for a second. charizard1605

I actually found the mission variety to be among the best in the series, and I did like the AI too. The MGS 4 enhancements also helped.
