Which is why so many continue to flock to it. Get over it and stop calling the Wii a FAD when it past that stage two years ago. Believe it or not, HD crisp graphics arent needed to make things fun so stop clowning the Wii for lack of 720/1080pzzz. The Wii is what gaming is. Fun games that allow you to play together with others for a low price that gives you the BEST BC library this gen and many to come. Get over it, the Wii hate in SW is old and has reached the stupid level.
I must be a sheep, right? Right?!

I've spent some time with it at a friends house, and there's nothing to draw me back in. Now, I know it doesn't apply to everyone, but it does to a lot of people. It started at first with motion controls, but now, it's expanded to its game library. People don't hate the Wii for its success, they don't like it because they don't like the game library, or the controls. And BC is indeed the best, but the GC's library was hardly anything to brag about. Virtual console offers a good selection of games, but Sony's got PS1 titles for download too. And if you like playing online with your friends, the 360 has the best console online experience this generation.
The resolution argument is going to become more relevant. How many CRTs do you see in stores? All TVs have a lifespan, and they'll eventually get phased out of the consumer pool. Same with the price. Say you don't want to spend 300 bucks. You can still (probably) find an Arcade 360 for 200. You'll get an arguably superior library of games, some really fresh ideas with the upcoming Natal (if that's your cup of tea... Not for me), and should you choose to pay for XBL, a solid online experience. Same with the PS3, just without the cost of online play and a slightly different library.
The Wii's main multiplayer games are basically Brawl, Mario Kart, and Wii Sports/Sports Resort anyway. Not enough people have Conduit. Nintendo's Friend Code system certainly doesn't help the online.
Hold on there chief, the GC library was awesome.
It was okay at best in comparison. A few titles stood out, but it had nothing on PS2's ridiculous library. I mean, yeah. Smash Melee was great, Wind Waker is still my favorite Zelda game to date, Metroid Prime 1 and 2 were great transitions into the 3D world for Metroid, RE4 refreshed RE, Eternal Darkness was ridiculously awesome, and it had TP as its swan song.
Those titles are some of my favorite games ever. But you really can't deny the strides that Microsoft made with the Xbox in terms of its library. JSRF, Psychonauts, Forza, GTA, and the juggernaut known as Halo.
I wish Nintendo would go back to the way it was back in the SNES days. Lots of support, absolutely great games.
