Sweet Jebus, I'm Regretting The PS3..

I traded in my X360 and bought a PS3, and.. Wow. It's like Sony doesn't even give a damn. I've enjoyed Ridge Racer 7 and Motorstorm, but everything else, even RFOM was a disappointment. Seriously, they need to pick it up and encourage more third party support or I'm done for good..quiksilver022

hehe, i hear yah. i own all three so im set, but the ps3 has been collecting dust. the only game that interested me was VF5 so far, but that would require me spending another 60$ on a controller to play with friends, lol.

What made you ditch the 360 for a PS3? The 360 has Ridge Racer 6. Motorstorm made you swiitch? What are you going to do this holiday when all of the good games come out for 360?

You definitely should not have traded your 360, but good PS3 games are on the way. Vyse_The_Daring

Your best bet would have been to just save up and waited for the Playstation 3. Why not own both?

Well I did the opposite, and traded in my 360 to get money for a PS3.  I couldn't be happier.  And the lack of games you mention isn't that different from 360 games.  They have the same multiplats lately, so they only exception is GeOW, RB6 (which is coming soon), Lost Planet, GRAW (also coming soon), and Dead Rising (which IMO wasn't that great).

I have been extremely happy with Resistance, Motorstorm, VF5, and Oblivion (great game on both systems).  The PS3 exclusives will come.  It took the 360 awhile to get great games, the same is true with the PS3.

That's what happens when you only have a launch console.

Man, you know how much heat I take for expressing negative opinions about a system I bought? I bash PS3 all the time now as it gathers dust to one side of my HDTV while on the other I play my far superior 360 (gaming wise) all the time. Crackdown, Gears and even Halo 1 and 2 again vs.....um, a game that is inferior to the original Halo in every way (RFoM) an arcade racer with no splitscreen (motorstorm) and a bunch of crap (Gundam, Genji and Untold Legends)

So where do you think I'd get more, EB Games trade-in credit or selling my PS3 on EBay? Cause if Lair doesn't deliver big time....

Just like with the PS3, give them at least a year and developers for the PS3 will start making better games than the 360.

I think you never has a ps3 or a 360 in the 1st place fakeboy. I have both and both are great systems imo ms seems to care less about it's users. They killed off the xbox in 4 years with crappy backward compatibility on the 360,then they are trying to nickle and dime us for everything after we paid for gold. Ms even went so far as trying to force epic to make us pay for new maps in GOW,now that's low imo.

Not saying sony is not money hungry as well but they seem to at least support their consoles and the online is free with servers unlike live gold's p2p service that cost $50 with ad's. Sony's consoles (ps1/2) have never let me down unlike nintendo and microsoft so I will stick with them. One of the best games I played this year was GOW2 for the ps2 now that's what I call support 7 years later a great game comes out.

I was going to get the wii but the motion is not for me and I don't think the graphics are up to even the gamecubes level yet. I like nintendo but they also slashed and burned the gamecube like ms did with the xbox. Sony supports their systems and that's why I support them. I love F1 imo it's the best console racer and RFOM has great multiplayer with no lag for free. I wish nintendo luck but I think I will stick with the 360 and ps3 for now.

I was thinking that also, only owning one console really limits your selection. If you are short on money, just get Wii and 360. That is at least 2 selections to choose from. Maybe you should trade in your PS3 and get 360/Wii and wait till later to buy PS3. I know only reason I am getting on is because I am a senior and someone is buying it for me due to a senior gift . :D

Probably the same reason as Wii, mega droughts. I use DS to get through droughts. Pokemon and Hotel Dusk are good time killers. I also don't have SPM done. I have more games on plate than needed right now. :P
