I love that game, still have it!

The end was quite sad when his wife showed a glimpse of being normal again. Awesome end.

Pretty sure no sequel though, although I REALLY want one.

I own the entire series in a DVD boxset I got years ago at full price, still awesome (Like my Cowboy Bebop, Trigun, etc.)

I also bought this on Dreamcast day one, it was fun, though not as epic in quality as the Anime.

Finally, to answer the Topic Creator Telefanatic and Fellow good poster Chutebox,

The answer is Yes...There actually was a sequel made by the same exact Dreamcast Team!:o, Sword of the Berserk PS2 was better than the great DC game as they made improvements, better production values, etc.

PS2 Berserk was only on PS2, BUT you had to import. :(

Screw that, I'd rather have miura finish the damn manga before he even ventures anywhere else. It's taken 20 years to get this far and i don't want him to take time off of writing so he can make another game. Dam u idolmaster.

it is true, that's the sad part. There are japanese links with that, luckily it was only a 4 month hiatus. You can just imagine how much longer it could be if he was making a new game.

you brought up some good memories, as far as i remember this was the first decent hack and slash game i played, at that time i didn't know that Berserk is a well established mange with many fans of which i become one.............. good game, one of the best manga ever, i hope they can make another berserk game that follows the story of the manga, it shall be the only rival for God of War series.

It was average at best. The combat was nothing special and the game had like only 4 levels, and even they were short! The only thing it had going for it was the big sword and the gore gimmick.

I'm sure it had less than 2 hours of gameplay, lol.

It's a shame that more people recognise this game over a genuinely great game like draconus aka Dragons blood.
