So I heard bunch of people around here saying System Shock 2 is the scariest game, now I have all 3 of these games, but SS2 is the only one I haven't finished, I only played about one and a half hour, and so far it didn't scare me one bit.

SH and FF however scared the crap out of me and left a creepy torment in my heart for weeks.

So, what's your thought?

i personally didnt think System Shock 2 was that scary.I think Fatal Frame is the scariest game eva.

HD Projected + Fatal Frame + Lights off + Surround Sound + No one in the house = FREAKING SCARY

Well worth it tho :P

The first time I played FF2 on my Xbox on my HD + Surround sound...

I have never...EVER been more creeped out by a game in my life. I till this day have yet to finish it, and it it's only because of my job at the time...I could only play it at night.

I played games like Undying and Nosferetu, etc and Fatal Frame takes the cake...

Yeah, I'm one of those people who considers SS2 as one of the scariest titles Ive ever played. The atmospehere was very creepy, and Shodan haunted me in my sleep. :P

Turn the gamma down real low, crank up the volume and play in the dark. It is one of the scariest games ever made... period.

System Shock 2 lacks the monster closet moments of traditional horror games, but it has a more palpable and surreal atmosphere of dread and despair than any game I have ever played. You literally always feel like death is just around the next corner, or behind the next door.
