*disclaimer: it can be pretty long, and it might not include some of your favourite games, but I find it covers most genres and franchises well.

that took too long, seems legit for maybe the top 10 then after seems to start going downhill in the late 20s

before doing a lengthy test like that there should be a nice list of games you can say whether you have or have not played, or at least a way in the test to say you haven't played a certain game

I'm amazed at my own taste in gaming. they're absolutely fabulous. Also, Halo CE is on the 4th place, deal with that lems.

Yeah, same here. A lot of my favorite games weren't included. Also some poor match ups.

Pretty good. Would only have to swap out five or six of the top ten, and none would drop past twenty.

@jg4xchamp: Yeah, most of my votes fell into the "I feel the same way" slot. I ended up having so many ties in my results, my 2nd place alone turned out to be a six way tie lol.

Kinda strange that Conker wasn't on the list, such a great game

No Ninja Gaiden Black.

No Splinter Cell games, not even Chaos Theory.

No Yoshis Island.

The top three is actually perfect. In order and everything. The top 25 is all games I like and would have an argument for. Pretty solid, I'd say.

Great list, to say the least.

Pretty accurate tbh. It basically got everything right outside of games that are on my list that weren't in the quiz(ie Jet Set Radio Future, and Shining Force).

Really surprised at how well it picked up on my Top 3

Yeah, it's by no means perfect (and I did put in a disclaimer saying it was long :P ) but it's interesting how it catches on pretty quickly which ones are in your top 10 or even 5. Now if your favourite games aren't even there then that's a different issue.

For me the difficult moment came when it finally put OoT and FFX against each other, and then followed up with WW against FFX. It was pretty obvious that then right there was when I was choosing my top 3.

There's still some strange things though; I mean, Red Dead Redemption is placed behind some games I haven't even played and I'm pretty sure I didn't vote for at any moment, and I know I voted RDR favourably in many instances. I guess it's down to intransitive preferences or whatever.

The first 4 are close (swap Halo:CE and TLOU) but it gets messy from there down. Dunno what happened to Pokemon R/B, it slipped to 15 and MK8 scored 13 on my list which is far higher than it should be. KHII is also far too high.

I made some slip-ups here and there.

I stopped at 30% because it was long, boring, the white page with a light font was making my eyes bleed and the Quiz had the nerve to keep bringing up Destiny.

It put 2 games I've never played in the top 10, other than that it seemed marginally accurate.

From the games on offer I don't think I'd overly disagree, it's probably segregated my choice of game types fairly well. Apart from Half Life 2 ended up at 27, which is a little odd for one of my all time favourite games and I picked it every time it came up.

Two of those games are good.

There's not a lot of niche games on that list unfortunately, so a few of my favorites (KOTOR II and Guilty Gear X2) are not there, and both would crack my top ten very easily. And the lack of Ninja Gaiden Black is unforgivable.

Fairly accurate. The top 2 are definitely true. I think all 10 of these games would at least be in my top 25. Of course there were some of my favorites that were not even on the list. And I'm not sure how Majora's Mask outranked Ocarina of Time; it should be the other way around.

Where is Splinter Cell Pandora Tomorrow and Chaos Theory ? Dishonored ?

Devil May Cry ? Darksiders ? God of War ? Gears of War 1,2,3 ? Borderlands 1 ? These games can actually make a huge impact on the list.

Also if Burnout 3:Takedown was on the list it would easily sit in my top 10.

Some of my personal favourites were missing from the database (the likes of Halo: Reach, God of War 2/3, Uncharted 3, Assassin's Creed: Brotherhood, Pokemon Black/White, Rise of Nations, The Sims 2/3, Mario Kart 7, Deus Ex: Human Revolution), but I was pretty impressed overall by the accuracy of my top 20. Here it is:

It worked out pretty good but one weird franchise omission I noticed was no Devil May Cry or GOW but Bayonetta?

Also weird and would defiantly change my list was NO fighting games (except meele *really?*) and NO racers.

GT and Street Fighter are some of gamers favorite games of all time certainly above some of the game games that go put on this list, weird that those were omitted when some less influential titles were added

Meh my list is still pretty damn close to what id look like but past #10 it would defiantly look different if the franchises I noted were options. Also (Digital Devil Saga/Nocturne > Persona for me)

lol, don't know if you realize it or not but EVERY game on your list is Japanese!

That's quite amazing if you weren't specifically trying to create a list of japanese games to fit you list being that this is your top *20* favorite games of ALL time.

Those guys from the small country of land the rising sun truly have put out some of the greatest games in gaming history that live on in the minds and hearts of gamers to never be fogotten.

Thank god Japan has come back stronger than ever this gen. May more works of unforgettable gaming goodness grace this generation by the masters of passionate game creation and may haters be salty that there is no getting around Japan when talking about the best games of all time or any specific generation.
