It is a great year.

I am just trying to clear my massive backlog across ps4 and pc.

As far as new games go i bought and finished yakuza 0 and loved every second of it.I also got nier automata on pc and have seen 2 of it's endings so far.Additionally i picked up Gravity Rush 2 during last week's psn sale but i have yet to play it.

Everything else is on my to buy list.I am not buying another game till i finish what i currently have.

Do you find it worthwhile having a PS4 and a PC?

I've been entertaining the idea of getting a PS4 for the exclusives for a while now...

the only real obstacle is the controller, to be honest. I don't know if I Could get used to it.

Without a doubt do it.

World of Final Fantasy, Bloodborne, Nioh, Nier Automata, Yakuza 0, Kingdom Hearts 2.8, Kingdom Hearts 1.5 and 2.5 (one purchase), Gravity Rush 2, The King of Fighters XIV, Alienation, The Last Guardian, Ratchet and Clank, Resogun, Persona 5, Digimon Story: Cyber Sleuth, Digimon World: New Order, Horizon Zero Dawn, Uncharted 4, Until Dawn, etc fucking etc.

There isn't a game in that list that isn't good. You also have remasters like God of War 3 and The Last Guardian and the Nathan Drake Collection (Uncharted 1-3), also the list is only going to get bigger with games like God of War, Spider-Man, EDF 5, etc etc coming.

Resident[ Evil 7 just kicked off this year for me, and with Mass Effect so far being an awesome experience, I'm one happy camper. :)

Ok Started the year off with Resident Evil 7 on PSVR and PS4 Pro. If you played this game on a flat screen you literally ripped yourself off. Incredible experience. Moved on to Nioh and played the shit out of that. Excellent game. Better than Bloodborne? Hellz no. Moved onto Horizon and was seriously impressed. Amazing graphics. Solid gameplay. Responsive controls. Beat that. Got me a Switch with Zelda. Taking my time with Zelda but it is excellent. GoAT? Don't know about that but it could be my new 2nd favorite Zelda game. Got Torment: Tides of Numinera. Not as good as Planescape but solid solid writing. Performance issues and horrible combat hold it back though. Got Mass Effect and it's just disappointing. Just doesn't have the magic of the first 3. The music the characters the writing, the controls it all just fells half baked. Got Nier after that. Great combat great story great music. The enemies are pretty redundant and the graphics are meh even if it's 60 FPS. Still would highly recommend. Finally I got Persona 5. I was skeptical because I played Persona 3 and only thought it was ok. However Persona 5 might just be the best jrpg since FF6. Excellent title. Of all these I have only actually finished Horizon RE7 and Nioh. I'm pretty much set through the summer.

Brilliant year, lots of top PS4 titles, possibly the best Zelda ever (turned my WiiU on for the first time in 1 and a half years), and Resident Evil returning to form.

Only downsides are disappointing Mass Effect (will still play at some point though) and nothing much from Xbone.
