@funsohng: Again, in my 3 playthroughs of Stick of Truth I don't recall a single bug. Pure luck? Maybe! :P

@funsohng: Obsidian games are usually always buggy, buggy but amazing games (except Dungeon Siege 3).
@jg4xchamp: Makes sense. You'd imagine they would have increased their staff considering the big name projects they've worked on.
Also I have to say that 50% of the charm of FNV (and Fallout 3 too) were the bugs! :P I was also pleasently surprised with their work on Stick of Truth. Graphically impressive and virtually bug free (3 playthroughs, not 1 single bug encountered on my part). It was a fairly linear and small game though.

Eh it's about how much money you bring in.
If you expand before you make enough money to justify being so big, you end up like Crytek. Post Far Cry and Crysis they expanded a lot, a lot more than they had any business expanding in size. They are going to be closed down barring a miracle in the next year or 2.
Who do we have to blow to get an ignore feature on GS? There are so many people on SW, even in the Lounge, that I wish I could block the posts of. It'd make browsing this forum so much more enjoyable. D:

adblocker trick no longer works?
@Xaero_Gravity: Alright, sounds good. I'm gonna be on at 11 Central. Phazon and/or DSS may be on then as well.
Speaking of Crytek. Where is Homefront 2?
Its like its vanished into oblivion.
They sold that off along with Crytek UK to Deep Silver. So same devs, new publisher with stable funding.
Finished VLR. I guess it's a good game, but it definitely was hyped beyond belief. Hype which it doesn't live up to.
I guess as a game, it's better than 999. As a story, it falls far behind it. I'd say 8/10 overall.

I played it on my work comp twice through only glitch I had is when my main character got stuck once and solved by a save and reload. loved that game.
Seahawks acquire Jimmy Graham in a trade with the Saints. Beast Mode's back in the fold...come to me SB 50! Come to me!
And Bradford to the Eagles in return for Foles and picks what is going on. Did Jake Locker decide millions as a backup was too much for him? I dunno
Had a truth thread lined up, went through the trouble of fucking proof reading it for once, get glitchspotted.
**** you gamespot.
copy and paste into word before you post something long n00b.
It wasn't even that long, for once I showed some restraint, did some tight editing, had that shit down, crisp, clean, was actually pretty happy with what I wrote.
They just trying to keep truth down.
After thinking a bit more about it, I change my mind. VLR is a 7/10. At most. The central premise is flawed.
explain in a spoiler?
Okay, here's how it works. Infinite multiverses, and Akane finds herself in one where Radical 6 broke out. So why not just transfer herself to one where it didn't? As a matter of fact, that's what her plan will do anyway, only in more bullshit and convoluted ways- it puts her from this branch of the timeline to a different branch of the timeline. As an Esper, she is certainly capable of jumping to a different, more desirable timeline, should she wish to. So why the entire bullshit with the Nonary Game at all?
Not just that, but she can't just erase the timeline where Radical 6 did break out- it can't be done, there will always be at least one timeline where the set of possibilities led that to happening, that's the point of multiverses, there will always be at least one timeline where a set of possibilities conspired to lead to the current round of events. She what exactly is she trying to do? Get to one where it didn't? Why go through this charade for that? Or is she trying to delete this timeline? Because that can't be done, period.
The premise is flawed, the story is self defeating. They either did not understand the principle they were using to frame the story, or they gave up about halfway through and hoped no one would notice. As a matter of fact, this reminds me of the issue Gods of War 2's story faced, where time travel fucked up the laws of causality. That is what this game is doing here. God of War II had a moment where Kratos went back in time- instead of having gone back in time, and stopping Zeus from killing him, he could have chosen to go back in time and stopped himself from killing his family, rooting out the prime cause for all of these issues. VLR is making a similar oversight- not only can Akane simply choose to transfer to a different timeline (because this timeline will exist, no matter what) without having to go through the Nonary Game, but that's what she should do. What she is doing instead? Unnecessarily convuluted and makes no sense.
The story is a self fulfilling, self defeating cycle.
Why, oh why, does Tekken 6 require you to play that God forsaken scenario campaign to see everyone's stories?
rip my ps3 and ds collection.
I really don't play either of my handhelds consistently enough to warrant both a Vita and a 3DS. Thinking of gutting one just so I can focus on the other's library and actually finish some games instead of jumping around between the two. Vita has flat out more to offer me through the PSN store (because **** trying to track down a bunch of DS games) and arguably quality as well. Most 3DS titles have placed in the "somewhat disappointing" margin to be honest.
Gonna miss not finishing Tales of the Abyss but maybe I'll just play through it on an emulator one day.
I started watching Dragonball (the original) with a friend.
And I must say, I prefer it to Dragonball Z thus far. The pacing, humor and overall writing is superior from what I have seen, while the fights are not as good, they also dont clog up several episodes to conclude >_> It also feels like an adventure.
Overall, its not the best anime around (I prefer the likes of Fullmetal Alchemist). But it is still enjoyable to watch.
