Saw "The Wind Rises" and thoroughly enjoyed it. A strange film but it works.
I'd rate it an 8/10.

I STILL can't look at Scarlett Johansson the same way, as I predicted when I saw a comparison from her look to Christopher Walken:
@Zassimick: Final Fantasy XIII felt like they were trying REALLY hard to recreate Both Final Fantasy VII and X. The game had the Linearity of X and a Cast that closely resembles FFVII.
Overall it felt like a Try Hard. I'd give it a "You tried" badge for the effort. I thoroughly enjoyed what I've played with it.
Skipped the 3rd due to time constraints.
I'm hoping to get to Lightning Returns after all is said and done. Don't know if I ever will, but eh.

It definitely felt like it was trying to be those games, I'd agree, though I wouldn't say it was trying too hard or anything like that. Despite attempting to replicate the feeling of those games, it did do its own thing in the end, even if it ended up being... different.
Not that that's a fact or anything, just a personal view of the matter. :P

I'm not sure if I want to watch that film. It's like making an animation about Von Braun and making him all innocent and shit. At least Braun was smart.
Unless I'm wrong and the film actually makes critical remarks on the character. I hope I'm wrong.

From the sound of it, you wouldn't like this film. Granted a lot of this film is also based off a novel that has nothing to do with Jiro Jorikosi's biography. Hence it's one of the reasons why I call it strange.
Anyways I just saw Birdman or (The Unexpected Virtue of Ignorance) . What an incredible ending.
I'd give it a 9/10 but I really loved it.
When will that day come?
The day when Sony approaches PG for a GOW game or a new IP.
Nintendo worked on many projects with them. They are making Scalebound for Xbone directed by the Kami himself, which i'm gonna buy an xbone just to play.
All that is left is Sony. Does Kamiya have issues with them? I remember reading something about either Kamiya or Mikami not liking to work with Sony long time ago. Of course if its a multiplat they have to since they want money but exclusivity deal? It hasn't happend yet and what i read long time ago, hmm.
Putting 30 minute cutscenes in a raid generally isn't a good idea, in-game scripted story telling would work better. Realm Reborn, like all the games, still sticks too close to using cutscenes.
Tried Tekken 6 online yesterday. Actually enjoyed it, which is rare for me because I often don't like online modes.

So no critical mention of Horikoshi's relation to military regime of Imperial Japan? No mention of slave labours of Chinese and Korean workers to build those piece of shit machines? Or how Zeroes basically sacrificed basic armour for the pilots just to fly a bit faster?
Meh Miyazaki.

Yeah, I've taken some flak fromr other people for not skipping cutscenes in a dungeon on a first-time playthrough.

I got to the two final missions yesterday, it was a hilarous mess.
Cutscenes starts with Boss > Cutscene finished > Group has already killed boss half a mile away > Next cutscene
This carried on for about for near enough an hour, no joke. in the grand finally, I literally done, fuckall.
You have that one show or movie that you somehow should be a little bit embarrassed to admit liking? (Then again, considering men my age and over found a liking to MLP, a show I never got into, but I digress, maybe I shouldn't be for the show I have in mind)

I remember reading that Mikami had issue with Sony, but that was during the PS2 era.
Have to go with DC, Marvel has gone down hill for me the last 15 years, specially the butchery they've done to X-Men.
Well I'm a DC guy, but even I am looking forward to most Marvel Movies like Ant-Man and Black Panther to say the least but Batman/Superman: Dawn of Justice is really going to be the main dish cause it's the first time Batman and Superman will be on the big screen.
This image makes me so happy. ^_^ Can I be on both sides?
Why would you pick one side? Do you want to be a pleb, is that it? :P
That's already out of date to boot now that you have to squeeze in the Spider-Man films.
Touché! Spidey will be a thing (once again)! Great time to be alive for comic book fans though! :D

You know, sometimes the things you say are just hurtful. ^_^
My most anticipated goes like this:
I'm incredibly excited for all of these movies. Like, very excited. But those there are the top. I'm so incredibly eager to see BvS, but Age of Ultron is coming up fast and the stakes look high, and The Winter Soldier is one of my favorite super hero movies, easily, so I'm expecting Civil War to be fantastic. And crazy, with how much of an Avengers film it will end up being.
All in all, like you said it's a great time to be a fan of comics! :P
Just found out I'm pregnant. Not sure how to feel about that.
abort the little shit
