Tactical Nuke for Modern Warfare 2?!?! Are you serious?

This game is going to be the game you switch back to after getting your arse handed to you in another game. What I'm trying to say is it will be a noob fest.

Meh who cares, but the only place you'll be seeing this is in any of the respawn modes. 25 kills in a row? The only way someone can get that is if they get lucky and have a great game or just camp in one spot and people are stupid enough to keep rushing them.

It all balances out with all of the stuff they have thrown in there.

I also don't understand why people keep complaining about this stuff. It makes it more challening. If you don't want to be killed by a nuke then don't allow aguy on another team kill your people on your team 25 times in a row. I mean honestly I'm sick of hearing about the complaints. Half the time I just think people are complaining because they want to hate.

Yeah I was rather decent in the time I played COD4 online (which wasnt too much) and I never had a 25 Kill Streak. In a game with such tight quarters as this its a nearly impossible feat for most gamers.

Mind you COD 4 didn't have all the crape that is being placed in this game. I thought random grenades on COD 4was bad, but boy this game will definitely make me miss JUST the random grenades

You honestly think someone gets 25 kill streak every game? I dont even think ive seen a 25 kill streak, and ive played over 16 days worth of time on cod4.

heres a revelation, if you get a 4 kill streak you can get a cargo drop where you get random killstreak rewards, which can include tatctical nuke, when you get 13 you get a drop with 3 random killstreak awards, which is triple the chance This game is going to suck onlinescottiescott238

when did IW say they're trying to make a hardcore game for the hardcore?

tactical nuke requires:

1. 25 kills without dying

2. giving up another, more easily aquired killstreak (like helicopter or dogs) to have this one

also, don't forget that if someone is doing 25/0, the other team has already lost.

in the end, nuke will be extremely rare.

that doesnt have anything to do with killstreak, you only get 1 nade in MW and cant get anymore unless you die so 1 nade really doesnt contribute much towards the kill streak....+ since when did raining nades become a noob fest? theres many games that have raining explosives like kz2 which is nades and rocket launcher fest, call of duty 1 and UO has 10x more nading then MW but nobody cries about that, battlefield 2, the hermits all time fav MP game, is a uber nadefest yet nobody cries about it....so how exactly does nades make MW a noob fest but other games which have 10x more nades nobody talks about them?

My main problems with modern warfare is that skill is replaced with quick reactions and random grenade throwing, its too forgiving to the nobs, there is absolutely no emphasis on team work, AND worst of all, you get points for losing,OH wait , and there is no skill involved in getting to the highest levelsscottiescott238

It's not just the nuke that makes me upset it's all this other crape that has been put in the game. Stealth Bomber, Pave Low, ETC. I used to hate the random grenades and the helicopter in COD 4 but I feel like this will be a whole lot more worse.

I saw a 25 streak today actually, but it was on a server with 42 players. If you've only got 9v9 it will be very difficult to get.

So, by that logic the logical outcome would be that since the game is a noob fest nade spam everybody would die quickly and nobody would reach the 25 streak. In the other hand if the game isn't a noob fest nade spam some players will reach the 25 streak but obviously they won't be noobs. The only reason MW is called noob friendly is because it has an easy learning curve. If a noob kicks ass it just means that you are using the term incorrectly because it is impossible for a noob to kick ass. Getting a kill here and there by nade spamming or ramdomly shooting means nothing. It's the equivalent of getting only just one or two hits in a fighter and feeling proud about it.

Getting high kill streaks isn't hard at all in COD.

Nobody on my friends list has below a highest kill streak of 35.

This is easily my biggest gripe. MP with teamwork >>>>>> (fun) games without teamwork. Another reason Im starting to phase out of FPS pretty fast.

It's called Modern Warfare, so yes it should have tac nukes. The next version should prolly have biological and chemical warfare too, with people running around in NBC suits.

cod is all about positioning than it is aiming-skills. it's rare to actually see people do this since there are alot of players, and alot of players means alot of noobs that just run n' gun, and sadly that is really effective against other noobs that do the same. i got a kill streak of 36 on cod4 when I camped in a house because people were just running straight out in the open.

I posted this earlier this week. Seeing how servers are only 9v9, even with the insanely noobyness of everything in the game, it might be a lot harder than first thought to get a 25 kill streak.

Funny how people still cry about this game, and it's such a huge improvement over CoD4. Better single player, Spec ops co-op mode with 23 missions, and multiplayer with tons of new features. The game is pretty damned balanced, go read on modernwarfare247.com about all the guns, attachments, perks, kill streaks, and death streaks. The maps are also a LOT bigger this time around, there's only a couple small maps, and most are medium sized.

Lifes about dissapointment. Get over it. It is a video game, one that is very successful and is enjoyed by many. If you don't like it now, than play something else.

Besides the basic shooting mechanic is the same its always been. Perks are designed to even the playing field, and kill streak powers are only available to those good enough to get major kill streaks.

doesn't matter, the point is that the developers sat down and thought one day, "you know lets reward people who suck at this game", that could be about the dumbest thing ive ever seen. please do not support this game for all our sakes.
