notice how at the end Take 2 says that they will talk with EA after GTA IV releases...

I will bet that EA will buyout Take 2 then. Take 2 needs to accept this... Their company isn't exactly in perfect shape. For as many million sellers as they have, they have a really low stock value... This buyout would only benefit their stockholders. However, it would benefit their stockholders more AFTER GTA IV releases. This will still happen, just not now. Take 2 can't(and won't) turn down $2 billion when their company is only worth $1 billion...

due to mismanagement, Take 2 is really only worth like $1 billion... This is going by stock value of course. EA is significantly overpaying based on what Take 2's stock is worth. If it was $2.5 billion, it would be rediculously overpaying.

Consoles rely on marketing and popularity to sell, the Adventure genre doesnt have this.

There is alot of Adventure fan communities on the PC. ( I'm talking proper ADventures not Action ).

Especially the worst console of the 3 in popularity and sales.

Younger people may play it, but younger people could never fully apreciate a game like GTA. And I am sure everybody just shoots hookers when they do play it right?

GTA is just one of those games which can please both gaming audiences and multiple demographics. I remember the time when Vice City came out... Teachers where actually playing those games, although that was a long time ago.

If elitests just came down from their high horses it would get the credit it deserves.
