A Telltale series set in the Borderlands universe...

As surprising as it sounds, Telltale already worked with Borderlands characters in that Poker game, Night at the Inventory 2. It was recently released just this year back in April. I saw it has ASH from Evil Dead and I wanted to play it, then PS+ gave it away for free a few month(s) ago. Due to the dialogue, I ended up getting 100% in that badboy. Claptrap is one of the characters you gamble against.
The relationship was there, so it's not as surprising for those that played TellTale's Night at the Inventory 2. They will make a funny game, I'm sure.
I won't lie. I couldn't get into Borderlands, the universe did very little for me and maybe it's because I'm not a huge loot-whore but regardless, I do have faith in Telltale after their superbly done Walking Dead game.
That's really odd. As far as I know, Borderlands' story is basically nonexistant and the lore is bare bones. You would think they would pick a game series that's more well known for its story or lore.
idk I always thought the world itself looked interseting. I mean they could actually add some sort of lore or character to it.I mean telltale made a boring show like walking dead fun for me in the walking dead game.
They also announced a Game of Thrones game. And I don't really know how I feel about this.. :/
Don't get me wrong, anything Telltale makes is automatically awesome, but the studio is not that big. And they have these 2 new games in addition to The Walking Dead and The Wolf Among us, and I'm worried they might not keep up the quality..
Meh.
At this point Borderlands is dead to me. BL3 is gonna have to be something reeeaaaallly special to catch my attention.
this
At first I thought "This is a weird title for a "Tales Of..:" game...
Anyway, they should totally just focus 100% of their manpower on the awesomeness that is The Wolf Among Us. Screw Borderlands and stupid walking zombies.
This seems like an utterly pointless thing to do. Nobody plays Borderlands for it's story. No a single damn person.
Out of all of the possible franchises, they chose borderlands.
wat
It may have something to do with the fact that the art style fits Telltale's like a glove. Both Walking Dead and Wolf Among Us were based upon comics with an art style that can be easily translated into cell-shaded graphics. Borderlands has cell-shaded graphics in the first place.
This seems like an utterly pointless thing to do. Nobody plays Borderlands for it's story. No a single damn person.
Obviously they are trying to broaden the appeal of the Borderlands universe. If the narrative, dialogue etc. are up to scratch with TWD, then who gives a shit?
The Borderlands series has a lot of story. Of course people say Halo doesn't have a story either and there are tons of books written based on it...so....
Anyway I'll be getting this episodic game day one. I'll just send my $25 check to TT now and save time.
