3DS hasn't got an AAA in over a year.
This topic is locked from further discussion.
3DS has enough of an amazing library it can afford a year without a AAA score.
Also it's not VITA exclusive.

Dude, tell me about it... if not for Persona Q I'd be pretty fucking mad right now.
What did the 3DS get this year? Smash?
I remember 2013 being crazy nuts, and this year it's been... quiet.
Not even an exclusive. Nice try. If you're going to go that route, Smash is AAA and its also on 3DS.

i think the launch of new 3DS set them back....maybe they had to optimize for the new hardware or something...... if we dont see any big 3DS game announcements next year or this dec....then i'd be worried.
Getting good reviews for the first episode. I didn't enjoy Walking Dead Season 2 as much and was getting worried they were spreading themselves too thin. But the reviewers seemed to enjoy this (however there does seem to be less freedom of "exploration" just like Walking Dead S2 compared to S1).
Also, this game is coming out on every platform except for Bintendo. Take-Two doesn't even care about you, unless you want to rename the Wii U/3DS as "Later Date"
(9) For which platforms will Tales from the Borderlands be available?
It will be released for PC, Mac, Xbox 360, Xbox One, PlayStation 3, PlayStation 4, and iOS. It will also be released on PlayStation Vita, Android and Kindle. Other platforms will be announced at a later date.
and nintendo doesnt care about them....or else they would kiss their 3rd party balls like sony and xbox..
@freedomfreak: It has gotten Fantasy Life (which looks pretty cool despite the low GS score) and Persona Q (haven't played a Persona game, but I know this one follows Etrian Odyssey's exploration and EO is awesome). Plus, I mean, come on. Smash. Even though it might not be the definitive version, it's still about as amazing as a portable Smash title can be.
All I know about Borderlands is that there is nothing about those games that makes me wish for less gameplay, and more of the story/dialogue.
That game was written for 12 year olds.
I enjoy the story of Borderlands a bit more than you do (as in I don't mind it when I play) but I will agree that I never played it for the story. It's why I'm skeptical about Tales from. the world and cast isn't interesting enough to me to warrant such a huge focus on story.
LOL Vita.
3DS is killing that machine.
vita owners play their system the most and has the highest attach rate of any system.
@Slashkice: And this is AAA on PS4 not Vita. So... Tc kind of made a dumb point. How's the performance on Vita? Any bugs? Is it butchered?
Going by TT WD Season 1 I played on Vita it should be good, but let's be honest here. It wasn't reviewed for Vita. So you cant say it's a Vita AAA.
@Slashkice: oh, I know how he is haha. I had just assumed that you were agreeing with him since you made no mention of it not being a Vita review but pointed out that only the Wii U Smash got AAA. Regardless, I guess it was dumb to even argue that with you since all you really did was point out the other users faulty logic.

And these are all titles for Q4? What about the rest of the year? It has been awfully quiet.
Bravely Default for us NAers.
That's something.
