Tales of Arise Xbox Series X vs PS5

Funny how the cows missed this video. In a nutshell, the xbox thrashes the ps5, shows why 12 tflop > 9tflop. This game doesn't use any tricks, no dynamic resolution, so its a good comparison. Xbox sticks closer to 60fps for 4k, while ps5 struggles to push 40fps. Even the performance mode, the X completely thrashes the ps5.

Looks like some devs are starting to figure it out, while others are just dumb. There is no reason why a 12 tflop machine to be outperformed by a 9tflop one. Its just disgraceful and embarassing to the devs and shows a serious lack of talent.

you see thats where it doesnt add up to me. The very talented devs at playground games used a different technique for reflections instead of going with RT.

Reality is most games are so close it's irrelevant. This is smallest difference between consoles since iv'e been gaming and my first console was an NES.

FH5 and MSFS are the best looking console games.

Without even having RT? Not a chance, sorry. The only good thing about Horizon5 are the vistas, just like in RDR2. But when you look from up close, other than the car, everhthing looks outdated. None of this is present in Ratchet, tho. A true next generation title created for current gen hardware only.

R&C can barely do 1080p with ray tracing turned on, super fan.

OK, let's be honest here. The PS5 has a lot more AAA exclusives than XSX does right now. No need to give the cows ammunition against you ;-)

You seem to think ray tracing is the definition of "good visuals". It's not. It makes shadows look more realistic, but it is just one feature of a host of features that can make a game have great visuals.

Gears looks ugly. Old Xbone game nobody cares about. Adding RT to it is like adding RT to minecraft or quake 3, its an old game, nobody cares.

LMAO!!!! Gears 5 is still one of the best looking games on any console. it was released 2 years ago, and a XSX upgrade patch was released last year.

Again, I am not saying R&C doesn't look good, because it does. But, claiming that a game that needs to downgrade the resolution to 1080p or drop the FPS to 33 in order to have RT is "the best looking game" is insanity... or the sign of a delusional fanboy.
