Tales of Graces F confirmed for PS3 exclusive-Release Date for EU

Not that its a surprise i mean the moment they said its Tales of Graces F it got confirmed the PS3 version :P.. but Namco Bandai updated their official website a few days ago and they may been testing it before the official confirmation and trailer in English. The official website updated its Platform section and its only on PS3. expect more info this E3

Release Date for Europe is due next year 2012, No date as of yet for North America but expect the news on E3

The newest entry in one of the most fanatically followed series today, Tales of Graces f redefines the fantasy RPG genre with its blend of enthralling depth of story and fast paced, strategic battles. Pretty good news; however I don't think that it will fall under a PS3 exclusive under System Wars law (because it is an enhanced port). However I am looking forwards to it, I just loved Tales of Vesperia.

I'm praying that it does well enough to warrant more Tales games be brought over.

I really would like to see Xillia localized.

Sadly I don't think even buying 3 copies would matter. The Tales games don't really get that much sales outside of Japan; sadly it seems any JRPG not named Final Fantasy gets passed over by the masses.

Which is really a shame considering how amazing Vesperia was. Too bad that it's not coming out on Wii or 360, which are the two systems I have, but oh well. I do hope it does well because these games really are amazing.

i'm really glad for you guys that sony finally got their **** together on the whole jrpg front. man those first few years were insane for the fans.

we were making ps3 gots no jrpg jokes for like 3 years and it was almost no exaggeration at all.

it didn't affect me at all because i can't stand them anymore but i felt bad for a fanbase that was hung out to dry because there was more profit in making ps2 jrpgs than making ps3 ones.

Agreed. I will be buying it, although it is linear right? Meaning I can not go back to places and explore? That kinda sucks, but whatever, still gonna be awesome :P. Symphonia was amazing and vesperia was pretty great too, so I know I will like this.

Currently playing vesperia for the first time and it's my first Tales game. Finding pretty damn good so far. I've got high hopes for Graces.

It looks like they're actually gonna localize it!! I can't wait! I'm not buying anymore games until Tales of Graces and Tales of Xillia are released in the U.S. I've been waiting so long for a Tales game on the PS3.

Well if your a JRPG fan I highly recommend you atleast give the game a try. I personally thought it was probably the best game the series has to offer so far.

He mentioned its dry and i replied as it is not the case, if he looks at the 360 as in example and even the wii their both it dry in JRPGs while 360 is dry in terms of everyting from exclusives to JRPGs to platformers :P.. still im getting it next week. Quality is also there with Tales of graces, Tales of Xillia, disgaea 3, disgaea 4, Ar Tonelico, FF versus, Valkyria Chronicles, demon souls and tons more. total trolling his comment was if you ask me

Its been linearized, yes, but there is back tracking and small side exploring. No open world, just roads to other towns.

Hmm i kind of agree as would actually see this as a PS3 exclusive since Wii still havent got the game yet and looks like it just will never happen for them.. yes its also on the wii but it is nott outside of Japan.. this gets complicated to be honest.. Arcana hearts is not exclusive but some people would say North Amercia Exclusive to PS3 when its on both cnosles in japan and Europe

Am i the only one who dosent mind linearaity? :P.. i mean just walk in, fight. cutscene.. fight..end.. lol still love exploring a lot more but linear games never annoyed me lol

And it depends on the game and the extent of linearity. I never found overworld exploration to be fun, the switch to road based exploring made it easier not to get lost and still has everything an overworld has. Secret areas, items, enemies. I prefer it.
