Tales of or persona which is best

I have to go with Persona series. Tales was awesome back in the day though, its a good battle.

In terms of games, Persona. In terms of anime... Persona again.

Persona, because Tales games lose at too many points with me.

Tales is my all time fav JRPG series but Persona games are FAR better.

There are only two good Tales of games. Then again there are no Persona games at all.

Persona is actually a good game, as good as Chaz makes it out to be? **** no, but that's whatever. But the Tales games suck straight up, the plots aren't good, the combat is mashy with no real nuance to it or anything in the vicinity of tactical depth, the level of customization is well below better jrpgs, the dungeons are the same brand of dull bland environment design that's battle to battle, with some bad puzzle element thrown in usually the characters are overly dramatic and take the plot way too seriously in a way that Persona doesn't.

So yeah Persona any day of the week.

I've only played one of each franchise, but I'll go with Persona 4.

Persona. Better games. 3 and 4 are JRPG gods.

But man. Symphonia, Abyss, and Vesperia were awesome back in the day though. The more recent Tales games have been "solid" at best.
