Tales of Xillia boxart revealed

Well looks like Namco getting ready to release their next game on the PS3 and next up is Tales of Xillia!

Here is the boxart for anyone interested.. i think its the same as the Japanese version

Thoughts on boxart?

Boxart looks meh.

Then again it's just boxart.

Preordered and ready for day 1 (whenever that is)!

the art box is really lame, looking forward to the game though

The cover art is too bright.

At least the number of loli's are just 2 this time...

I like having that kind of boxart...it's much better than always having the male protagonist on the cover trying to look cool

Vesperia boxart was decent. Simple but effective.

Played a bit of Symphonia last week but dropped my replay due to not wanting to burn myself out on the series (just played through Graces in December).

Hopefully Xillia's cast/story is better than Graces' "meh" one though according to Japan I can rightfully expect it to be

I still have yet to try a Tales game, I really want too though.

What would you guys recommend I try first that has a good story and not too much grinding?  I've got all the systems so I have access to all of them (in NA anyways)

Not a fan at all. I also hate the cover for Tales of Graces F, but luckily I don't keep my cases on display :P

Tales of Symphonia is the default response to any inquisitions regarding the series. 

Best story is a tossup between Tales of Abyss and Tales of Vesperia. Yuri Lowell is easily the best protagonist of the series and while lighthearted at first glance there is a darker edge to him. He is a very gray character. He is also voiced by Troy Baker one of the gods of English VAs. Unfortunately, the rest of the cast doesn't quite hold up to him.

If you can stomach Luke for a good portion of Tales of the Abyss you will be greatly rewarded in terms of character development. Abyss has surprisingly a pretty good story but you have to be patient with it. 

Both games are fairly long. You will most likely go over 40 hours in a single playthrough. Just uh, be prepared for some really chessy characters and equally cheesy VAs. The combat is where the series really shines

Oh how so sexy this boxart is. looks almost llike Tales Of Graces F boxart though.

I never liked the Japanese boxart for Tales games.

I do like the Japanese boxart for Final Fantasy games though.

That aside, I'm sure the game will be fun.

I would go with Tales of Vesperia. It's a very well made game and my favorite JRPG this gen.

Had this preordered since its localisation was announced, box art looks nice as always

Not bad.

I don't like it. The plain white background sucks.

That's the same as the Japanese box art.

Milla is the worst, she doesn't even fit as a Tales character. Looks more like Ar Tonelico or something. The rest are okay, I guess, other than the lolis (2 for the price of 1, GJ guys)

Well I did beat the JP version awhile ago but I still get it. And I think the Boxart is the same as the JP version.
