It'll be a sad day to see my favorite gaming series go under when over half the games haven't even been released overseas

Because they haven't made a decent game since Tales of Destiny for the Ps1?

Oh, and they have a game called "Tales of Fandom". I think that speaks for itself.

Probably wouldn't have happened if they localized more games to garner more sales, glad I made the decision to pick up ToV.

I also quite enjoyed Tales of Vesperia for the 360 (due to a serious dryspell of JRPG's this gen on consoles).

They made some of the best RPG's to date. Tales of Symphonia and Tales of Vesperia were so good :evil: .

Tales of Vesperia was indeed pretty good.
Oh well, blame the uninspired, generic games called FPS this generation.

thats what happens when you continuely release the same game franchise within such a short time with mininmal to no changes which exactly what the tales series was.

I mean damn look at how many tales titles they released in such a short amount of time, with less then half reaching any other country then jpn. and quite literally the games had very little difference between them, oh they upgraded the graphics and plane from 2d to 3d here and there are times when the new systems came out but literally the games were the same game each time story, gameplay...ect

maybe if they had released more of their games in other regions they would have had a better following netting more sales. I personally grew sick of tales games awhile ago.

I greatly enjoyed vesperia, it's a shame that they are in trouble.

That's too bad. They need to find a different publisher, Scamco-Bandai isn't a good look for them.

Eh, there is too many of them first of all. Second all tales games should be multiplat. Make em a big deal, and try to be neutal in the markets you appeal too. That means not overly anime japanese but not Capcom bastardization either. (I love capcom :) )

Sad to hear, but that's what happens when you don't let others buy the game and instead make more.

Does not matter in the overall scheme of things. Look at Castlevania, Silent Hill, and some other old Japanese games. The Western devs are doing them all far, far, far better.

Andriasang can sometimes be questionable as well. I've caught them manufacturing false information in their translations. Kotaku usually just quotes andriasang.

I'm not saying this news isn't true; I'm saying find a new source becacuse you might not be getting the full picture.
