AP reporting that Target will only stock Blu-ray players in its retail stores -- specifically, Sony's $499 BDP-S300

Blu ray won when sony decided to put blu ray in PS3s. HDDVD will slowly die now...hopefully dead by years end, so I can get some universal stuff on blu ray.

is this going to be like that "blockbuster's only going to rend blu-ray films" thing we're we find out it's just a PR lie and they just vamped up their blu-ray selection?

I don't know why the mods always lock format threads even though they're perfectly relevent to the console wars. If Blu-Ray wins, it's good for PS3. If Blu-Ray looses, it's very, very bad for PS3. And Blu-Ray is winning.

lol, a lie? Its the truth. Blockbuster only supports Blu-ray at almost all stores.
