I love the Marvel vs Capcom series so for me its TvC. I'm sure SF4 will be the more technical game for people in who enjoy frame counting and stuff like that, but for what I consider to be fun, TvC looks like epic fun. Are Wii games region locked, or specifically, is this game region locked? If this game could play in US consoles, i'd buy a Wii for it and Mario Galaxy.Senor_KamiTheyre region locked.
[QUOTE="BioShockOwnz"]I love SF, but TvC wins this one.SMR-VenomTvC looks more interesting. I have it and love it. but it's a joke to suggest it will be better than the flagship. It's nowhere near as deep. It's not online. It has a small roster. Just no, guys. Just no.
I kinda dislike the looks of SFIV. It looks like an SFII remake with 3d graphs. Graphics are sweet, there's no doubt but I'd love to see new stuff, not every character from SFII with a couple additions. That's lame IMO.
But having said that... Tatsunoko??? seriously??? out of Capcom's character's there's like just 1 or 2 characters I recognize in that game.
So SFIV wins IMO.

Flagship vs. fun side game. SF has Online, Large roster, actually coming to Europe and America, Super Deep, and it's in High Def!
[QUOTE="waynehead895"]Umm. I need to play them to determine. Both made by Capcom so I'll most likely enjoy both.fabz_95Exactly, especially since Capcom are brilliant at making fighters. both can be played. they're not in the same zip code. Street Fighter 4 is on a whole different level. TvC is for fun. Street Fighter 4 is for excellence. and serious business.
SF2 is certainly not SF2 with a new coat of paint. watch a video or 2.I kinda dislike the looks of SFIV. It looks like an SFII remake with 3d graphs. Graphics are sweet, there's no doubt but I'd love to see new stuff, not every character from SFII with a couple additions. That's lame IMO.

Yes, the Wii and 360 are the both Region locked and this game is a Wii game, meaning it's region locked. Only Sony's PSP, and more recent PS3 are not Region locked, which is odd, since the PS2 was region locked.
To answer, it won't be coming to the US, and it won't play in a retail Wii. There are other options though, like buying a Japanese Wii, or using illegal devices.
TvC looks cool, but it won't live up to American appeal of MvC2 since MvC2 has MARVEL characters. I'm still waiting for the day they finally make Marvel vs Capcom 3: the day when fun fighting (not the serious type) games hit the scene again. Just thinking about it... Deadpool/Punisher/Nightcrawler vs Dante/Zero/Wesker... *drools*D00nut
Didn't Capcom lose the Marvel rights???

Yes, they sure did. There was some rumors that they may get it back, but that was over 2 years ago. Who knows, we can all dream, like what if CVT actually was coming to the West?
It's just a dream though.

They did. Right now I think Activision or EA has it, but one of these days Capcom might get it back... which I'm hoping for since they used the Marvel license a heck of a lot better than the others do right now. (Although Marvel Ultimate Alliance is pretty good)[QUOTE="GreenGoblin2099"][QUOTE="D00nut"]TvC looks cool, but it won't live up to American appeal of MvC2 since MvC2 has MARVEL characters. That's awesome, man!! :D
It's time for Capcom to show that MKvsDC how it's done!! 8)
this is a mainline street fighter and VS. series which is better kinda poll both series have their own strength.. the mainline SF is a lot slower though and has less characters.. the Vs. Series is often a lot more casual..farnhamI dont even know what you have been smoking but pass some please. "Vs series are more casual" thats the most false comment ever.

Choosing balanced teams creates more strategy than SFIII does in every aspect. I'm not even gonna compare SF games to Tekken as theyre totally differant. Remembering Kings Multi-Grabs takes more skill and know how than down, towards, Punch to do a fireball or down, towards, down, towards, punch to super fireball. Tekken is a fighting game while SF is a Beat'em Up.

Streetfighter for example.. (hint you cant) the mainline SF also has some balance issues but it is acknowledged as the most balanced fighting game in existence

Simple... Can you remember a 20 button move? Can you do Brazilian Jiu-jitsu moves with King (grappling on floor) and then carry it on so you go from north to south? I know i can. Can you do kings several various 10 hit Combo's? I know i can. Can you do a 5 hit air juggle with King? I know i can. I must be more skilful than you to remember all that and know when to use it and when not too. To do Nina's Multi-grabs is much more skilful as the combos take pin point timing with 0 hesitation. If you can do all that and more so then i will let your opinion stand but if you cannot your opinion is flawed.
You mention 2 joke characters while theres a list of what like 30 (unsure i sold my MvC2) what if you designed a serious party Vs another instead and then say "Oh theres balance issues"? because would it not be the persons fault for not designing a balanced party. I use to use Jill for Health, Ryu for Projectiles and Spiderman for aerial which was quite balanced team.
How your opinion is flawed in every single way and form.
what? how is an opinion flawed? his is just as valid as yours. and i dont get how you think that the Vs series is better than SF3. I,d take Alpha over those games. theyre just not balanced enough and there are a lot of useless charcters. the Vs games are kinda simple and i hated that they just reused the sprites for a lot of the Capcom guys.tikki25xSo me saying "In my opinion the amiga 600 is more powerful than PS3" would not be flawed? Exactly. Just like what he said is flawed.
