Team Fortress 2 is getting a war update!

Where the War update differs from other cal.ss updates is that we've decided to mix things up a little with, as the Administrator would say, "a healthy competition." A secret, exclusive seventh weapon has also been developed by the TF2 team. In other words, either the Soldier or the Demo (but NOT both) is walking out of this update with one more weapon than the other. If you want your cla.ss to have it, you're going to have to fight for it. The more Demomen you kill as the Soldier cla.ss will help ensure the Soldier gets the weapon at the end of the week. The more Soldiers you kill as the Demo will help the Demo cla.ss get the exclusive seventh weapon. Check back daily to see how your cla.ss is doing at the War hubpage — this is also where you'll see links to all the leaked previews of the weapons, maps, and surprises releasing soon with this update.

Sounds like a awesome update.:D I think I will be playing more of the solider to kill some Demo.:P

I love getting this stuff for free, while in other shooters You have to pay for just a few maps :lol:

:3 I kind of like both cIasses... Soldier is kind of cute but demoman is real funny too and harder to use.

I predict demo will win though.

Just came back from the game, and a lot of people seem to be choosing Solider lol. This is going to be exciting.:D I wouldn't mind if the demo won through, I am just glad that at least the solider class is finally getting updated.

Well solider has been my favorite class from the begining, so it looks like ill have to play as him even more this weekend!

Well, now seems like a very good time to test my cousin's computer's integrated graphics while I stay at her place...>.>

I'm playing as a Medic! :D I don't play either the Demoman or Soldier very often (I'll likely add to the other's kill count) but I hate Demomen as a Backburning Pyro and I know that the Soldier's abilities are greatly boosted with a Medic. Also, as one of the few willing to work as a Medic, I reserve the right to refuse treatment to anyone I hate...:twisted:

I just played a couple of rounds, Soldiers are gonna win. there was like a 3:1 ratio in the games that I played.

Anyway, I found a server that is blue is soldier and red side are demomenm, was pretty awesome.
