His statement about XBL being better than PS+ contradicts what many posters in SW have been saying. So its going to be intresting to see what those people say. But i expected PS3 to win. Lack of core games for Kinect already sows it up for PS3. Adding in RROD is just icing on the cake.

Ah, but when he said he was focusing on top 3 failures, i knew PS3 was going to win because RROD absolutly crippled 360.

That's your opinion. Just like his. I expected the PS3 to win. He also picked it to win. I knew the PS3 would win because of the rounds focus on "Top 3 Failures". Although the PS3 is the better overall console between the two, you can still make the case for the 360 to be better. But to state that he's a fanboy for picking the 360, instead of the PS3, is ridiculous.

Listing the pitfalls of each console for the last round kind of took my by surprise, but it was pretty obvious at that point which was going to win round 12 and in turn the whole series.

Threads on this are getting locked, I'm guessing this was the first so I'll repost.

I honestly think if it were a straigh up camparison the PS3 would have won a long time ago, but he gave a couple of rounds to the 360 just for show, you know build up hype etc.

I mean seriously though, who really though the 360 would win? He just tried to be politically correct, if he were 100% honest the 360 would only win multiplats and online experience. That's it.

Evidence 1. Controller... Any rational person knows the Dualshock 3 is of much higher quality, from the sixaxis support, to push sensitive buttons, to recharable out of the box, to a waaaay better d pad, less dead zone in the analogs... I mean I understand some people may prefer the 360 design or something, but from a neutral unbiased universal pov the Dualshock wins...

Actually its fact, not opinion.

It was fair and thurough. He gave each console the win in teh catagory I personally think they should win. And honestly, I think the fact that it was tied up until this last round proves that theres no clear better console with these two. Not like SNES vs Genesis where it was kinda clear SNES was better for games and whatnot. Honestly, he could have given both of them the win I think, but it wouldnt be much of a war then would it. One way or another, someone has the "Win". And in his opinon, he thought the PS3 was more bang for your buck, which is kinda hard to argue. However, he mentioned that the PS3 is not great for everything, and neither is the 360. 360 is better for multiplatform, Online, Controller, GPu, and theFuture. And PS3 is better for Hardware, CPU, UI, Media, Exclsuvies, and the least big faults. More or less, that seems about right to me.

The thing was tied before this last round. It proved theyres hardly any difference adn both are about as great as the other. But someone HAD to win. Otherwise, he could have easily given both the win overall.

2. No Auto Installation for games

3. Inferior communcation design

I do think its rediculous that we need to install our games and Demos we get off PSN after we download them. Really, it cant be THAT hard of a thing to fix.
