Looks and plays the exact same imo from the gameplay footage i have seen.
The game should be called Goddess of War.

Only that it has no connection to the God of War franchise at all except that it's a 3D action game of similar style.
It stole DMC3's stance system, slapped more enemies on screen instead of making an average amount of enemies more fun to fight (like in Ninja Gaiden), and upped the graphics.
That's pretty much it.

DMC3 has a two gun change out. Not stance. You have to change your stance when you find the hour glass save point. Gunslinger, Defender, etc. You can't change those stances on whim. DMC4 does but we have yet to play that game.

Yay, they allow you to change on a whim in heavenly sword. Whoop-dee-doo.

You two are talking about style. Which isn't what Heavenly Sword has.

Speakith the fanboy. You obviouly have nothing good to say. You shouldn't even bother with gaming of how negative you are. There's two switch outs. HS has three. No gun change out. The gameplays are different in every way. It's so much more comparable to God of War. DMC3 I assume will be the better game in terms of what you can do. We've yet to play the game. So your opinions are pretty rubbish. Among other things as well...

Wow at the unnecessary hate. What this would in turn mean is combinations that vary dramatically depending on what order of stance you use, which would (I feel) bring more refreshment to what can sometimes be monotomous gameplay found in a lot of hack-n-slash action adventures.
I don't understand the comparison,if it's the fact that Nariko has blades just like Kratos, then that's a very poor comparison.Looks and plays the exact same imo from the gameplay footage i have seen.

[QUOTE="fuzzysquash"]based on wuxia rather than Greek mythology.
you face giant armies rather than giant monsters.
R-Dot-Yung
whats wuxia?
Chinese martial arts mythos.
This is what Heavenly Sword originally was going to be when it was first conceived: http://youtube.com/watch?v=iN6FlIcZEjE
