Ten Reasons why PSN beats Xbox live

Here is a pretty cool article with 10 reasons why PSN beats Xbox live. I don't have a PS3 yet, but I am one of those that will be trading in my 360 for the PS3 when my live account runs in a few months. Tired of giving my money to MS for nothing.

8. PSP Functionality/Remote Play
9. Catch-Up TV (Australia)
10. Playstation Home (doesn't this nullify the 3rd option?)

There were a few opinions but most of them were facts, nice article.

The web browser is probably the best feature along with free online to me because i use it to watch shows and movies sometimes.

you do realise that it says "but you has to pays for the lives" but than says Playstation Plus is a positive even thought you have to pay for it, and it still has no cross game chat. everything on their was such a lame reason. if its so much better why aren't you playing on it then?

I do like PSN over Xbox live because it's free, mainly, but I do think Xbox live has features that PSN needs to "jump on the bandwagon" for. My biggest issue is that sooo many PSN titles don't have demo's, and if they do, you have to actively search for the demo. Why can't you just have a "Download Demo" button in the same window as the game? The Demo's not even listed in the "You may like" window either. Not to mention that for some games, downloading the retail game just gives you a key to unlock the demo, but it doesn't tell you that. Shrug :)

Well COD games are still heavily played on PSN does that mean PSN sucks? absolutely not. Its just that a majority of ps3 owners are not those that do much competitive online gaming. Thats has nothing to do with PSn. If that were the case COD on ps3 would have under 50k players on them daily after a year too. But this is not the case

So we're really using the number of players online to see how good they are?

By your logic all single player gamers are GARBAGE, as a matter of fact every offline mode is trash online = top quality.

Because PS3 owners play different exclusives including offline modes/games their trash.

or 50000 vs 250000. The amount of players only matter if it deters you from finding matches online. Even Warhawk and resistamce fall of man still till today have an active online community

PSN doesn't need ten reasons why it's better than Xbox Live. It only needs one reason and that is, it's free to play games online. nchan

Yeah that article wasn't written by a bunch of PS3 fanboys...lol. That's the problem with the internet today, any boob can make an article on it and act like it is real journalism from a reputable source.

Yeah the Avatars are lame, but the PS Home is awesome...so playing with virtual ...er...um avatars in play houses is so much cooler...because it's on the playstation...lol...and don't forget the PS3 trophies make PSN better than Live......morons..

Yea, I read that part, and as it states, for the money you pay you are getting some extra content and games for FREE. So for your $50 on PSN, at least you get something.

For those of you that say the PS3 web browser sucks and that is what a cpu is for, can't you do facebook, twitter , last f.m, and netflix on a computer, instead of paying for it on xbox live?
