From Software has ruined another great series, first Armored Core and now Tenchu, tenchu z was absoutly horrible(im not going to get into it, just play the demo or read the reviews) its one of the worst games i've played this gen, and the game has soo much potential, the devs just didn't eventry, it looks like a ps2 game honestly. Im so disappointed,The old tenchu games were much better. I really hope the original devs work on the next title.
you just made me realize for the next time i see a game from "From Software" i should back away. From Software suck at making games, just look at Enchanted Arm (That game was not the true next-gen game), AC4 (was alright but did not give me the feeling of the other AC games ive played from the PS2, and i agree with you about Tenchu the other Tenchu games were great untill these devs touched it.
i played the demo and it was horrible.bad stuff.the combat was fun at all.sneak attacks were probably the best action in the game...as i go further in the demo i have 2 fight this emo looking guy wearing a jacket.the attacks were too standard and the AI wa Really dumb.

Sony had held the rights for Tenchu (actually it was Sony Music Entertainment Japan). Then sold the rights to Activision who sold the rights to From Software.
Tenchu 3 was the last great Tenchu game but from that point onwards when new owners got the rights to the series it went downhill...it's a shame cos the game is a gold mine to a team of dedicated designers
