Halo 2 had a Great Ending.
You like Cliffhangers? I raged when I saw the Halo 2 ending. You know, Halo 2 was suppose to have 3 more missions(and ATVs), but due to being rushed, it had to cut those 3 missions and end with what we got.
Serious Sam 2 was a bit of a piss take. I thought I'd be fighting Mental not a crappy giant pyramid with an almost impossible difficulty spike. They haven't even continued the game, just left it where it is.

Well I'm only baseing this of what I saw. I was never into the Xbox back in last Gen.
I'm sure lots of people were mad but when I saw the ending I thought it was a great cliff hanger, much like The Empire Strikes Back or The Lord of the Rings.
I love the game, but I'm going to say MGS4. Reason being, it was so drawn out to the point of boredom. I think the ending was longer than the entire Lord of the Rings saga..
I'm surprised no one mentioned Unreal Tournament 3. A good game, but such a cliffhanger ending

It wasn't really a cliff hanger ending. the story was just there to show you the ropes and the new features. Cutscenes were beautiful though. Plus UT4 will be on the Unreal engine 4 which will be for next gen consoles.
Meh it was ok, it wasn't great but it at least gave closure.. None such thing in Starwars KOTOR2.. Your ship just flew away or you stayed at the planet, no anwers were ever answered.
