TF2 exposes how mindless SOME Halo 3 MP players are...

Dear Halo 3 players expierencing TF for the first time.

#1 - wear your headset, and expect to talk about the game, not each others moms.

#2 - those guys shooting themselves in the ground arent noobs, its called rocket jumping.

#3 - the world doesnt need 4 spys to a team.

#4 - for the love of god, shoot the medic first.

#5 - pyros are not weak, just stop shooting guys in the water and youll see better results.

#6 - 2fort is not the only map in the world, and yes it is better than blood gulch.

#7 - demomen do not suck, you just need to learn they are a defensive class.

#8 - when you are sniping, the opposing team can see your red dot if you put it in plain sight! hide it!

#9 - the Heavy Weapons gunner should never cap a flag, no matter what you say.

#10 - There are no energy swords in TF, stop asking.

All taken from a 2 hour session of TF2 on XBL. Very funny, had alot of fun informing them how different TF is, and they were good guys, they simply just prefered the simplistic DM and Team Slayer Halo has to offer.

its a blast especially when your team works as a unit, i was the soldier and just went in on a rampage, whilst causing a ruckus the scout took the flag/evidence, and the heavy weapons gunner just cleaned up as we ran.

Gonna have to say a big AGREE on #4. Unless I"m the medic, then it's fun to watch newbs try and take down my Heavy or Soldier.

Having seen the Portal ending on Youtube part of me now wishes there was some way I could get Portal and TF2 without all the Half Life 2 bits I don't care about much for a small price.

I just don't have the funds to buy another game.

I can add some general rules for TF2 players I've seen to:

#11 - If your an engineer you need to a) actually get your teleporters up and b) place your Dispensers where the Offense can refuel themselves (unless you are defending, then put it near your turrent so you can fix it and get healed).

#12 - There is no need to have more then 2 snipers per map. Seriously, I played a Dustbowl with 6 snipers and we got steamrolled, I wonder why!

#13 - If you're going to play spy you have to ACT LIKE A MEMBER OF THE OTHER TEAM. Also, do your job and clear sentries out of the way instead of just racking up kills.

I also kinda have a question, does the XBox 360 version have the "full run speed firing Heavy" glitch that the beta had for a while? Becuase it was completely hilarous and totaly gamebreaking.

If they are not playing Call of Duty, GRAW2 or R6Vegas, what makes you think they'll try TF2?

All the people on my friendlist play all the different games in all the different modes, so I get none of this.

It's a nightmare playing Vegas after playing Halo3 for a few hours, I keep on running up to people and throwing a grenade :lol:

I haven't played TF 2 yet, so can't comment on the players. But I did play TFC alot and loved it.

i think you can download portal and TF2 on its own on the pc via steam.
