TF2, still best class based MP FPS of the decade!

This game is SOOOOOO epic! I still love the multipayer battles better than black opp`s/MW2 ones even after 3 years. The classes are all pretty balanced, you can still kick ass even without all the upgrade weapons (unlike CoD BO and MW2), the art style is brilliant, and the character personalities are hilarious!

After all these years it still doesn't get boring. And no, not even Brink will be able to touch this. It's just an bad attempt at copying the formula wich Valve perfectioned.

When all the CoD's, Halo's, Killzone's have died off this game will still be played over 10 years.

Agree. It a very fun team based game and feels fresh compare to many shooters these days.

Battlefield FTW. No other FPS series is better IMO. TF2 is good no doubt, but I get sick of it fast.

I hate TF2. I agree with others that Battlefield 2 was better.

I have to dissagree since TF2 has better class balance and team reliance. Also less lag and hitbox problems. Moar hats as well :P

Of this gen? Yes.

Of the decade? We have to start tackling with BF2 then :P.

Class based shooter's this gen haven't been that strong this gen, imo. TF2 is awesome and fun, but other games just seem to have failed. KZ2 was good but had some flaws, and BC2 is awesome but the classes lack major differences and depth. COD and similar games are not really class based in the sense that each class needs to fulfill a role in the match.

TF2 and CSS are barely similar.

As fun as CSS is, it's somewhat outdated and is only kept alive by its excellent community and competitive scene. Otherwise, there are shooters today with much more content and features.

I hope after they finish DOTA 2 they can give Counter Strike some similar treatment.

i agree. the character classes make this game great. especially the spy. i haven't seen a class like that in other games. its fun to play.

TF2 is great no doubt, but I prefer Battlefield by a little :P

I totally agree with you TC!!! I haven't stopped playing since it first came out nor have I ever uninstalled it.

I agree. It has a class for everyone and is very balanced. Probably my favorite game this gen.
