I just wanted to thank Microsoft for creating a great gaming console and giving us gamers what we need and thats absolutely fun and amazing games like Halo 3, Madden 08, GTA4, Ninja Gaiden 2, just to name a few. Not only giving us critically acclaimed games but also giving us the best online gaming service. Without Xbox Live none of the online multiplayer aspects of a game would work, so thank you for Xbox Live and continuing to make it the best online service for a gaming console ever. I know you've had your ups and downs, but at the end you deliver the goods. You are the leader and the other two consoles looks up to you, so I thank you for being the leader this gen.

Despite your faults you done more than enough to make up for it. Sure you had the rrod but you made up for it with your more than enough 3 years warranty. Sure you charge for Xbox Live, but thats like cable. Cable is free but if you want the premium channels you have to pay, and $4 bucks a month is nothing for having such a superb console video gaming service. You standing up from a knock down just made you stronger and we all see the strength within you. You are definately the strong leader now. Also I would like to thank you for working with gaming developers like Bungie, Epic, EA, 2K, etc. just to name a few for making the best games and best versions of games. You guys are doing it right this gen. Keep up the good work. Thank you Microsoft.

PS. Thank you Bill Gates for helping revolutionize computers. Without you, none of this wouldn't have happen.

PSS. I also like to thank Sony and Nintendo. Without you two I don't think Microsoft would have been as big as it is right now. You lit the fire under their *blank* and now they're hotter than ever. And I'm glad I have some game fuel to guzzle down and keep me cool and refreshed while playing all night long with your Xbox 360, great gaming machine.

PSSS. Thank you Microsoft for giving us gamers superb games like Gears Of War, Ninja Gaiden 2, Mass Effect, and of course Halo 3. Halo 3 is the biggest entertainment launch in history! This is a video game people and it surpassed Sony Picture's Spiderman 3 The Movie! Congratulations! Jump in.

MS has delivered quite the console this gen despite certain hardware problems, imo.

Hmmm, I have been gaming on PC for 7 years and I'm not spoiled by it. Consoles and PC's are completely different. Also, I've gotten like 5 free map packs on XBL among other DLC.

The only reason they have such a monopoly is that nobody knows about any alteratives outside of people who work heavily with computers. Most people I know wouldnt know a thing about linux, and only a few would own a mac.

Theres good microtransactions where you are actually getting your moneys worth (Map packs, extra chapters and so on)...and then theres things like get these "cheats" off of Godfather for only 5 bucks!

Free map packs as in, waiting for a period of time before they became free? But that's just it. Consoles haven't really been that fully exposed to downloadables. 360 is getting the full on attack. I'm just saying the PC has offered free content to me all the time where as now we have consoles, where in the past, never got any additional content, is now but at a price. Consoles used to be the "final game, the end" of all things on disc. Will be interesting to see what the next 5 years plays out for consoles and the online community as a whole.

That has stopped though. EA is actually getting pretty good with microtransactions.

You should be thanking Sony for Madden and GTA, without them and the PS2 and its massive game sales ther would never of been any GTA 4 or Madden 08. Thank you sony for making gaming wat it is today.GarchomPro
