Anyway. I'm not bashing the fact of the microtransations, I'm just used to having the full game experience for the $50-60 rather than paying the retail price, then paying more for additional content. Oh well. I suppose it's the evolution of gaming. I see good things from it, and bad things from it. It's still in baby stages but will grow more. I do like how games are turning more focused to the community. Halo 3 and LBP are examples. User created content that you can rank and share with others worldwide. Sony and MS are thinking smart with the community. ChrisMun
I understand where you're coming from. I don't mind paying for a map pack or expansion pack, but I do mind paying for in-game cash, an extra vehicle, or a new outfit for your character. For the most part, the bad part of microtransactions have passed on XBL. Bethesda and EA really tried to screw the consumers, but it didn't work and now we no longer get that crap flooding the XBL Marketplace.
Gamer pics (avatars) and Themes (wallpaper) are rip offs though. I am guilty of buying both though. :(
