Ah, there we go, my IQ has returned. Seriously, that article was filled with all kinds of backwards logic and contradictions.
Did the writer of that article ever stop to think that Rockstar didn't improve the visuals of TLAD because they didn't deem it necessary and not because GTA IV in its current form is all the 360 could handle? Nope, because that would've made sense.
And I guess no one told him that GTA IV runs at a higher resolution on the 360 with more AA and has a consistently higher framerate at any given time, either...
People are just mad that since the Xbox 360's architecture has been considered easier to work with, several developers who are on the multiplatform-wagon use Microsoft's console as a base. They assume that if it was the other way around, games such as GTAIV would be much more then what they are now(regardless if they're AAA or not) simply because of the "PS3 power". I won't agree with it, but I'm going to keep a opened mind.
Square Enix's Final Fantasy XIII is really the only game that could prove them wrong or right when it releases in North America. But of course the game's 3D engine is highly compatible with the PC and the Xbox 360 much like the PS3. In fact SE's next MMORPG which is only coming to the PC and Xbox 360 is using Crystal Tools. Still, Final Fantasy XIII on the PS3 could overshadow the Xbox 360 version in performance. OR! The Xbox 360 version could simply prove that its friendly architecture makes Final Fantasy XIII run smooth.
That... makes sense. We shall see comrade.
