well i have xbox 360 ,high end pc and ps3 .. well i love them all .. i hate shooters alot and want something new and discovered heavy rain . Man no matter whay ratings site gave them(8.5 from gs which is great) i must say this is one of the most greatest game i have ever play so i requested all ps3 user try this game you gonna enjoy it :) thank you sony for giving us something different
We need more games that arent based on shooting, Im getting so sick of them. Im sure ill love Heavy Rain when I get it.

Just because you haven't played games that are not based around shooting, doesn't mean that they don't exist. Are you aware of the "Point and Click" Adventure genre? Heavy rain seems to be just that, but elevated and with high budget.
Why are you thanking Sony? Where they the one who put blood, sweat and tears into the game? No, I think that would be QD;).

The gaming community needs to accept things and move on, or else the crying and moaning will never stop.
I played at least around 40 games last year and only 2-4 were shooters (out of them one was Cryostasis which wasn't much about shooting ) ... so I don't really see your point here
but most of the high budget games are shooters .. there are very few adventure games out there and they are usually on pcs but i am not complaining about anything .. just played heavy rain and was so happy about new ips keep it up QD :)
