Those are average reviews. And why someone would want to spend $60 on an average-rated game that's only 6 hours long is beyond me. The game seems to be a killer rental, though.

As a owner of both the PS3 and 360 i was really looking forward to Lair and Heavenly Sword but since both games have been getting bad reviews looks like that is just 2 more 360 games added to my library instead.. Instead of buying Lair I bought Bioshock for the 360 and now instead of buying Heavenly Sword im going to buy Skate for the 360 (buying 360 version because of better framerate and Acheivements) Looks like im down to only one PS3 game this year im buying Which will be Unreal tournament 3. I personally think Unreal Tournament 3 is going to own on the PS3.MikeCOD80

I wouldnt get Skate instead of Heavenly sword imo. Lair may not be a good choice to get but I think HS will be a good game.

I've played many games that recieved above 9.0 and still came out unsatisfied.

It really depends on your personal taste in gaming because these reviewers simply have their own taste in gaming that won't match your taste.

To me, God of War was piece of ****, while I had plenty of great time playing Odin Sphere. Scores really doesn't do justice when it comes to rating games because games like Valkyrie Profile has been getting 7.0 on Gamespot. If I listen to Gamespot and missed out on original Valkyrie Profile, right now I would've have to suck it up and buy PSP or pay ridiculous amount of money on Ebay because that game is really good.

number rating really doesn't do justice. Just read the information about the game and decide if you are going to enjoy it or not. Just because a game scores high number doens't meant it is money well spent.

Yeah, I'm a Sony fanboy and I think it sucks that Xbox360 games are coming out faster and better than PS3. I don't want to risk the red lights of death--otherwise I would buy the 360. I might just buy one anyway just to see how long it lasts--seeing how Sony is dragging it's feet on all of the games that *I* want to play. It really seems that all of the *major* game developers are favoring the 360--most likely because of how large the 360's market share is compared to PS3.

But I still have TONS of games for my PS2 to play--it's beginning to feel like WORK! LOL

game informer gave it a 8.75.

The reviews are opinions from someone else.... stop being a drone, rent heaveny sword if you like it buy it.

Heavenly Sword is definitely a rental. Do not waste $60 on it. Only six hours in length and no multiplayer component. You can win it the same night you buy it, and then that's it.

PS3 users should make COD 4 #1 on their list of games to get this holiday season.
