The 360 Got Em, The Wii Got Em, But The PS3 Still Don't Got Em

Both the 360 and Wii got AAA exclusive games but the PS3 have none what so ever. The PS3 and Wii came out the same time but the Wii is just killing the PS3 in sales and one of the Wii's hyped big guns actually delivered (MP3) unlike the PS3 (Heavenly Sword, Lair, Warhawk, etc.) I've said this before and many other people have said this before, the PS3 will not have an AAA exclusive game this year! Wii60 is still the best combo!

Might I add that just because a site/new publication gives a game a number, doesn't mean it's not fun.

However, it does give you a good idea of the quality of the game.

If you don't care about scores, what are you doing on here? If you only care about your perception of a game, wouldn't you post on that game's forum, or in that console's forum? I get the whole "reviews don't always matter" thing, because I love low scoring titles like Crackdown, but still, the point is here to discuss and argue over which console is superior, and scores play a major role, do they not?

What if they aren't a crap load of fun. I mean, you haven't seen many reviews yet, and some have been pretty poor. Also, you haven't played the games yet either. I'm not saying they ARE bad...just saying what if?

Yet people still support PS3... confusing to me.

While the PS3 does have a few games worth playing, your point is more than valid. PS3 costs between 150-250 dollars more than the competition, to me that's a bold statement saying "We cost more cuz we're worth it," and so far no, no it hasn't been.

Exclusive games and exclusive AAA games really should be the selling point for systems, and with PS3 being the most expensive it doesn't even justify a purchase to play cross-platform games.

Why do people focus so strongly on an opinionated review from a website?! Can you honestly say that there isn't a game you love that got a bad score from Gamespot? Games are pretty muchall personal preference, but games can still be crappy i.e. bad graphics, clunky controls, way too short, bugs/flaws. And most PS3 exclusives don't have that... They just have people who personally don't think they're so great.wallpaper42

Ps3 doesn't hold a candle to xbox 360's lineup in 2007. Im sure many ps3 owners probably are regretting their purchases as I would be with the lack of quality games.

And game reviews help a lot as it gives the person an idea of the quality of the game. People are paying $60 for a game and for that price the game better be well worth it. If a game is boring and repetative then I would be mad as hell to pay full price for it.

And exclusives is important because why else would you buy a more expensive console if it has the same or worst lineup than its competitor.

Saying I regret buying my PS3 because Gamespot and other sites don't rate the games high is pure stupidity. Thats like me saying "hey your mom regrets getting knocked up with you. Of course, when you look at the reviews you need to read them too. Because what's said is far more important than the number given.

Heavenly sword, THE ONLY PS3 GAME TO HAVE A REVIEW FROM IGN, was trashed because of "lasting appeal." Seriously? I'm going to rent it, I could care less about playing it a second, third time. And I think most gamers are the same. Not to mention the same site gives Bioshock a gracious score in the same category though most have stated replaying the game wouldn't be much fun.

Without the "lasting appeal" grade, HS would've scored a 8.5.

But PS3 still has more AAA's and AA's than the Wii.(last time I checked PS3=3 AAAs, Wii= 2AAAs, PS3=17AAAs, Wii=7 AAs)

(I have nothing to say about 360 cause it had a 1 year head-start and should have had 10 AAA games by now).

Wtf are you talking about? So far wev'e already had RFOM, Motorstorm, VF5, NGS and have Warhawk, HS, Lair, Ratchet and Clank: Tools of Destruction, UT3 (don't even compare the 360 to the PS3 version) and Haze coming out. Doesn't look like to bad of a lineup for 07. Maybe HS and Lair didn't get great scores but i'll still have fun renting them.

I called him out earlier. To say the PS3 has "no games" is rediculous at best. Yes, it doesn't have the size of the 360s library and it shares many of the same titles, however, it certainly has "games". If you don't own a 360, the PS3 is more than enough to keep a gamer busy.

While it'll be awesome when those games are available, I've had enough to keep me busy on my PS3. If you don't own multiple next gen consoles, the PS3 is plenty. Hell, Oblivion kept me VERY busy for 3 full months. Just because it's available on another console doesn't mean it won't play on the PS3. If you don't own an Xbox or an Xbox 360 (as I'm sure most PS3 owners don't...at least the 360), games like Oblivion, Ninja Gaiden, Splinter Cell, RB6 Vegas, and GRAW 2 are new titles to us. They've been out for months on the 360? I don't give a rat's arse, I haven't played them yet.

thats awsome MP3 got an AAA before they reviewed it thats a new record! i am just glad that UT3 actually coming out to ps3 this year and that regular dvds aren't holding it back from coming out like on 360 :)
