The 360 is now pretty much dead. It is lagging in sales and its going down every month and its is constantly selling behind the PS3(in all regions). The console is also maed out, and after 2 yrs gears still is the graphics king on the console, while the PS3 has far surpassed gears and is constantly improving, with games like HS, then Unchartered, GT5:P, MGS4. The killzone 2 pre alpha screens smoke gears 2(which looks like Gears 1, with no improvements at all), and the multiplats of 08 all look better on the PS3, despite being harder to develop for(games like Burnout, GTA 4, DMC4, Turok, Lost:VD), this further shows that the 360 is now bottlenecked. People. you have experienced the high point of the xbox 360 in 07, and its not going to improve at all now and the PS3 just needs a few big hitter to blow it out of the market, its already being dropped by retailers now.bigevil_rashek

If you seriously think that the 360 is dead then the Ps3 must have been dead for months. The xbox 360 is beating the ps3 by 5 million units. Killzone isnt going to smoke Gow2, Gow2 will beat it 2 to 1.

How do you explain that the 360 has sold more in Jan - May 08 than in Jan - May 07 in both America and Europe. In fact, significantly more and proportionately the increase has been greater in Europe.

It may be selling less than the PS3, but it is selling more than last year. Hardly a sign of death.

You will have to do better at making things up.

360 is not dead. But now it's relying solely on it's past right now: the installed base, because it's hardware sales are lagging behind both competitors right now (in fact, since '07), and also it's released games library.

You know burnout needed a patch to display in 1080p, where as the 360 version did not. So it looks better, but in lower resolution? i've played both... I'll keep my 360 version.

I like to play my games, not look at them. Killzone 2 is not a definite hit considering the majority of people did not like it. Graphics alone do not make a game great. As for Gears of War 2 looking like the original, I honestly don't care because I will still enjoy it regardless.

One game doesn't make a system worth owning. Having an incredible library covering all genres means something to the public and true gamers.
