The 360 is Killing the ps3

When Gamespot and other websites post these Graphic comparisons, AKA: PS3 VS. 360 VS. PC It just doesn't show the true picture.

In their minds there keeping it fair by only comparing games that came out for all systems, sure some times there is an advantage in graphics to different consoles but the true picture is for the exclusives

If you look at Gta4 on both consoles of course they look a like Rockstar isn't going to make a totaly different game with the same title. But then when you compare exclusives, Killzone 2, Motorstorm, heck even Little Big planet has ten times more better graphic quality then the best game on 360.

So because game dev. have to limit down the scale of their games to work on the 360 as well it destroys the game for the ps3, I had a 360, and I left for the better graphics of the Ps3 and Im tired of looking at what I consider Last Gen games.

Inconclusion, i think that sony should try to get more exclusives, or game companies should make a game first for the Ps3 then make a port of the game for all the lower consoles, including 360

The hype got the better of me so i bought a ps3 the other day. Got kz2, mgs4 and tried a bunch of demos. Take it from me, the ps3 doesnt have better graphics. They are roughly the same.

So, when Crysis 2 looks better than most/all PS3 exclusives, what will be the next excuse?

last gen xbox owners were happy to get any multiplat they could and praised the devs if they put in the extra effort to make it look better, this gen ps3 owners cry their eyes out and insult the devs by calling them lazy after 90% of the multiplats release

Im about 1/4 into kz and yes it looks great. Not mind blowing though and certainly not enough for me to say the ps3 has better graphics than the 360.

The original Crysis came out for the ps3 and pc? What gaming sites/stores do you visit?

The 360 has better games, better online, a more populated online community and multiplats generally look and play better on it. Even though the system is poorly built and has a 54% failure rate, it's STILL a better gaming console than the ps3. I don't understand why people are still even arguing about this.

Oh, and Saints Row 2 is one of the best console games to come out this generation. I would say it's in the top ten as far as fun and replayability go. Yay!

Your point is muted, CPU for both systems by the same manufacturer (I.B.M.). The GPU in the 360 and ps3 are pretty much identical in terms of specs. The Blu-ray drive contributed to high cost of production that has been kicking SONY in the A$$ big time. Look how they dropped different aspects off their original ps3 they launched (remember the batman controller). When a corporation is losing $300.00 per unit there is a serious problem, you can blame Ken Kutarugi for that blunder. PS3 will not overtake the 360, just accept that, it is what it is, Sony finally got their wake up call, they now realize that M$ is not going away, and definitely a bonafide company in this industry. You're probably one of those voices that was in Sony's chorus when the original XBOX launched, about how M$ would not last and BLAH, BLAH etc, etc...... Guess what??? M$ is still here......... NEXT TOPIC.

I have a gaming PC, PS3, and Xbox 360. The graphics on 360 exclusives vs. PS3 exclusives is a big difference. You sir probably don't have a trained eye for looking for hi-res textures and the such.

I'm saying this based off a couple of people I have met while working at Gamestop that said x game had better graphics than y game. When clearly y game had better textures, dynamic lighting, shadow, and Super-sampling AA.

I don't really care, if I don't know what systems break and which ones don't I won't buy one. That is the keyword my friend, I get it fixed for three years for free, what happens if I want to use it after three years? Notice how inconvenient that is for some people, but obviously not for you. I own a GBC and a PS3 and neither one have gave me any issues defective wise.

I do not buy products in which I know will break normally or which had a history of breaking normally. How exactly would I know which ones now work and which ones don't. Over all 10% higher then the PS3 means nothing, I still have to pay for online even when I decide not to use the device. With the PS3 I don't need to pay, I can choose to use online when ever I want without feeling I wasted money due to a lack of time to play.

I have no true interest in the library of the Xbox 360 any ways because it has nothing to support but mainly Western games. Sure it has a handful of Japanese games but they are all in a style I don't like and the games I do like are not going to come to the United States because I have no say in the matter due to the developers making the rules.

So again, when it comes to the PlayStation 3, I choose when I want to play online, there is no gambling with my money like the Xbox 360 and trying to get my money worth. When a developer chooses to make a game and not release it to my region I can import it. I can't do that with the Xbox 360, just stuck with a whole bunch of shooters and western games. Not to mention most of the Japanese games that did make to the west for the Xbox 360 that I had interest in can be gotten on the PlayStation 3 with more to offer. How you choose to understand this is up to you, but I won't foolishly think you put any effort to understand this fully.

maybe they prefer to develop for the 360 because it is developer friendly. The stuggles developers have with the PS3 IMO is the biggest issue the console has had. Just now they are figuring out how to develop for the PS3. That is why this generation MS>Sony.

This is very funny to me... the whole system wars thing. Ive owned both systems at one time and honestly they both have great graphics. Its pretty much opinions. I like mgs4, killzone 2, uncharted 2 beta, blueray, wifi, charging the controllers right out the box, and free online better then halo 3and gears of war 2 and all the things u have to pay for with the 360. It would be nice if they were more games for ps3 that i could play co-op on one system tho... but i sold my 360s after 3 rrods and, ALL THE KIDS SCREAMING IN THE MIC AND CURSING OUT THEIR MOTHERS WHILE PLAYING ONLINE! IMO psn is much more enjoyable because of it, and their is hardly no lag at all. Gow2 lagged too much, more then socom confrontation...
