Didn't you make a thread recently about how you thought PCs were 1000s of dollars and the 360 was a cheap option?Danm_999
ummm PC is cheaper,349 for a Inspiron 530. add a GF 7300(40)...
I don't know where you live but where I live that stuff does not cost that much.MrDziekuje
I can get those both together for $150, but I don't even need them. I bought a premium and I was set without needing anything extra but another controller, why are people buying all this add-on crap anyway? They say lemmings are getting milked by Microsoft, but I don't think I haven't gotten milked yet. I think I had to buy more add-ons for my Wii.
yeah. microsoft is really out there to milk every dollar out of you no matter what they're selling.
with how much profit they are making(and will be making after halo 3 comes out), it would cost them nothing to include hd-dvd and wi fi with elites and up the price back to 500, but they are unwilling to do that, because they want to just get every last dollar out of you.
the system its selfs not to bad but then agian somthing that breaks 33% of the time should not cost alot to much. but the thing that kills me is the add ons . my bro left me his core when he moved cus the perosn he moves in with has a 360. but he took the hard drive. the 20gb hard drive witch is tiny costs 130$ plus tax! i could buy a 500gb pc obe for that much, i always want online so thats 60$ plus tax but heres another problem the wi fi costs 130 $ as well thats over 200$ just to get the system online. my hd tv is far away from my desk top i would need a 250 foot cable that would have to be layed under the carpet on stuck to the wall just to play online.deadmeat59
your tv is 250 feet away from ur desktop....lol anyone call BullS*** yet?

enjoy that piece of crab cake you call a gaming system. PC gaming is expensive, it needs to be expensive to afford the good parts to get the most out of your games.
Oh yea and someone do him a favor and link this site for him...not sure if uve heard of it...its called

So your place is the length of a football field? Get real. Do you expect anyone to believe that?
You are going to cry about a $500 - $600 dollar setup when it must have cost you $100,000 dollars to put carpet in your house thats bigger than the Astrodome?
Fakeboy or big fat liar take your pick SW.
and people say the ps3 is expensive when it has blu-ray wifi and free onlineski11buzzPS3 is expensive when you consider that up until Warhawk, the best thing about the PS3 was its BluRay capability!! Until the PS3 gets games of the caliber of Halo 3, Bioshock, Mass Effect, Metroid Prime Coruption, Super Mario Galaxy and SSBB it simply is a luxery and not a necessity as far as gamers are concerned!!!
$130 for a 20GB,HD and $60 for Live, $130 for WiFi? I would say you got ripped off, but you don't have a 360.
Alright whether your making your little story up or not....you are right, there are tons of expensive little accesories you need to get the most out of your 360....
There are waaay too many 360 fanboys here to acknowledge that, but its the truth....but then again its the same with all the systems, and only fanboys would deny that...
True, because I have bought a pile of crap to make my 360 experence better, everything from charge kits and wireless headsets to the new messenger kit but I did the same thing with the PS3, for it I needed HDMI cables, a charge cable longer than 2 foot, headset, keyboard and some other junk.Alright whether your making your little story up or not....you are right, there are tons of expensive little accesories you need to get the most out of your 360....

I'm not pinching pennies here I just get what makes the experence better.
The PS3 may sound all well and good, but here are a few things that you will have to invest in right off the bat....
$50 for HDMI cable as the PS3 only comes with Composite cable which Imo is an insult when you consider how much Sony wants to pump the PS3 as the obly "TRUE" HD gaming console!!
$50 for the remote so that you can actually watch those BluRay movies!!
So if you compare the Full 360 package and the Full PS3 package, the 360 is about $80 more, but has much more HDD space and has it where it counts...the games!!!!
