the psp 2 could beat it the 3ds looks like it will be overpriced and will not have anything innovative.

3-D without glasses on a handheld is not innovative? And what makes you think the 3DS is going to be overpriced? Nintendo has never sold hardware(especially their handhelds) at a loss, so I highly doubt Nintendo will pull a move from Sony's playbook and price the 3DS at $300 dollars.
I'm predicting that the 3DS' price will be between 150 dollars and 180 dollars.
We don't know anything about the PSP2 because Sony has not announced it yet. Which means its pointless to try to compare the 3DS against a system that does not even exist yet(We don't even know if Sony is even working on it yet.)
Besides, if glasses free 3-D is not innovative then what is in your gaming world? PS3 level graphics on a handheld?
Honestly, your bias against the DS has blinded you to the point that now you're making outlandish comparisons between a system that has not even been released to the general public(3DS) and a handheld that may not even exist yet(PSP2)
$150 - $180 :D
get serious now stop joking that's not another adaptation of the ds it is alot more powerful.
200 dollars is the limit that I think the 3DS will launch at. The point remains that Nintendo never brings out hardware that causes them to lose money. If they are moving foward with the 3DS, its because they managed to find a way to produce the 3-D effect(the most expensive thing about the unit.) cheaply.
Think about this for a second, if the 3DS is going to be so expensive, what makes you think the PSP2 will be any better? Its widely assumed that the PSP2 will have 360-PS3 level graphics in order to be an upgrade over both the current PSP and 3DS.
Sony has a far worse history when it comes to pricing their handhelds. If the PSP Go launched at 250 dollars, what makes you think a true succesor to the PSP will suddenly be cheaper?
Between the two, I think Nintendo has the experience to price their handhelds where the mass market adapts it. I highly doubt Nintendo is going to suddenly deviate from the strategy that has allowed them to win the handheld wars since the Game Boy.
If the 3DS is coming now, its because Nintendo has found a way to mass produce it at a reasonable price that will not cause them to lose money.
