This is my list of the top 5 FPS games of this gen. so far. If you have any suggestions for editing/revising this thread then feel free to post them.

NOTE: The games in this list are arranged in no particular order. Also,I didn't include more than 1 game from the same game series.

Well, I'd argue that Halo 3 is better than KZ2 just because of things like Forge, saved films, etc.

Modern Warfare 2 is... one of the if not the worst CoD titles ever released.

There are better FPSes than Crysis.

Bioshock's fine.

My 2 cents.

For me it's:

1. Bioshock
2. Fallout 3
3. Resistance 2
4. Killzone 2
5. Call Of Duty: World At War

I REALLY didn't want to have a Call Of Duty game on this list, haha. Still, I can't think of anything better at the moment. I would've put MAG or Battlefield: Bad Company 2, but I've only played the betas / demos for each so I can't effectively judge yet.

Halo 3 HAS to be # 2 or 1

i dont know if it counts as this gen but it did go beta last year so im gonna say quakelive for me

Even though it's more than just an FPS: Metroid Prime 3: Corruption. A very compelling experience.

I'm a pc only gamer this gen so my list will mainly comprise exclusives and multiplatforms. The only console fps i really got some decent playtime on was several hours of killzone 2 mp and it was fun and i'm sure i would enjoy it heavily if it was out for the pc and could play with my mouse and keyboard.

also under 1.0 is pretty garbage. I mean thats just basic concept. Kill more than you die.

being garbage at a game doesn't mean you're not allowed to make a criticism though, I mean if you suck at it I don't think you can say a game is easy if you suck at it(because you're lieing in your case)

But you can argue design, the actual gameplay, and all that stuff and say its not good for yada yada yada reasons without being good at it.

I am on the part where those yellow aliens that only give melee atacks from Halo CE show up,then I stopped playing.I just destroyed the crab robot thingy.

I am at least a little bit more than halfway through the game.
